this isn't about downplaying sanji's haki it's the fact that the one thing oda has been very consistent with when it comes to haki is that you can not sense an invisibility user with basic (basic as in non-future sight) coo

Even then, if he doesn’t have future sight that just means he doesn’t need it to sense invisible opponents. Because again, by canon he can do that

He would have done getting stronger if he kept relying only on Germa genes + tech. We saw the limits of those abilities, haki was the only way to keep growing stronger.

Do you disagree that we had more haki moments for Zoro and Luffy than for Sanji until recently?

Again, you are bringing Sanji vs Queen and I have clearly said multiple times that Oda intended to go with tech path until he made Sanji ditch RS which happened before IJ.

Differences were clearly there before that.

Luffy and Zoro got training twice - Sanji didn't.

Luffy and Zoro were clearly showing visible application of haki more often than Sanji. Infact in case of Sanji with exception of CoO and invisible CoA (which one can deduce because of ability to hit logia) , we didn't get much at all.

Both got Advanced haki while Sanji didn't even get advanced CoO.

What Sanji did get clearly was RS which he put up few times and even used it in combat once. (All 3 times in early stages of an arc) Then oda made him ditch it and we got IJ.

This is a perception issue on your part gang.

Sanji has MANY Observation feats sensing presence, danger, strength, emotion - even lies.

Again, all of the above is just Observation Haki.

Regarding his use of Armament, has Sanji relied on it more to protect his body. Granted, this is common, but I can recall 3 specific instances this is called out for Sanji, versus only 1 for Zoro.

• it is a fundamental part of his skill set
• he uses Armament more than Zoro uses Observation
