Imu never tanked Loki’s AdCoC lol. When Loki sent Imu flying across Elbaph, Loki wasn’t using Haki and Imu was still coughing, wheezing, and bleeding from his skull. Hakiless Loki did similar damage to Imu as what full power AdCoC Gaban did to him. Lol

He was doing the literal same thing against Gaban, while also trying to kill Luffy lmfao. So he was x2 distracted against Gaban, and arguably all the damage he even took from Gaban was delivered while Imu was x2 distracted. Lol

I don't think IMU is performing lame or that theory is getting traction because of IMU's performance. Infact, it's because IMU is performing so much (lame or not) which is what actually pushing "BB will get IMU's df" theory alot.
If Oda's intention was to set IMU's hype then there was absolutely no need for IMU to go through the extended gauntlet like this. More IMU is pushed and he fights, more Oda is actually doing opposite of setting up a hype
If Oda's intention was to push Luffy more then IMU wasn't needed as of now. We have many characters that could have been used to do so.
IMU getting more and more fighting panels and getting fleshed which is what giving that theory more traction

Yep, just like I said. It was definitely related to his reality warping but Luffy wasn't aware of that. Imu is basically like a god and his abilities grant him immortality and super high regeneration, so why should Nika be excluded from some of these abilities? Just like Imu, he was a god and Luffy carries the god fruit.
This all depends on one of the most important mysteries Oda has yet to reveal: what Blackbeard's fruit truly is at its core. What's behind it? What is this darkness that devours everything? Are the parallels with Davy Jones' locker just a coincidence? Now BB is a man "of the people" but against the established world. If power is in his hands, it goes to his crew. Unless becoming the next Davy Jones requires that power to remain centralized in one and one alone. Sacrifice included.
