Rumours are that there's some massive feud going on within Portugal Media outlets.
Those outlets who are are either owned by Ronaldo (partly) or are under his influence are demanding JJ to resign.
Other media outlets are siding with JJ.
In short, Ronaldo is using his influence to tarnish JJ's reputation. That whole 1740 words rant was done to get attention from Messi's farewell and tarnish JJ's reputation which we all know backfired massively as more people are mocking Ronaldo.
Also, Portugal is winning matches, players are happy and even the nation is backing JJ. According to a poll, 42% Portugese sided with JJ while only 14% sided with Ronaldo (this poll was before that rant Ronaldo made).

We all know he believes Messi reached the final three times and won the trophy once only because of FIFA.
Yet now, he considers that same achievement valuable and respects it. So, is this Messi's achievement or FIFA's?
