Oda is good at world building but shit at plot writing. The lore he writes for each arc are always good ( except Wano) and the islands and settings look great. But the plot is always the same....

Bad guy threatens island -> Princess/Damsel meets SHs and becomes friends -> Princess/Damsel needs help to defeat bad guy -> SHs defeat bad guy and have a party.

There has been a few switch ups those usually involve ticking time bombs and needing to escape the island such as Impel Down and WCI. But yh usually most arcs follow the same generic forumlas.
This happens less often than people always think. The generic OP adventure doesn't repeat from volume from roughly 24-63, or 67-97. Basically, FI is the only redundant arc.

Oda has been saying he'll end One Piece in 5 years for the past 3 years I think.(Go watch KoL rant on it it's hilarious). I'll give it another 10 years tbh if continues with the current pace.
Lol its definitely not IMO. If you logically think about it, look what needs to happen:

- Wano needs to end, how long do people think that will take? 1 more year? 2?
- Elbaf needs to be seen. Whether or not its long or short is up to Oda (it being short I highly doubt, considering its consistent teasing and setup)? Is it a year? 2? 3?
- Does the crew go to Lodestar? If so more chapters need to be dedicated to that.
- How long will it take to find Laugh Tale and sail there? Will Elbaf or Lodestar have the 4th RP? If not, another arc/island!
- Then you have Laugh Tale itself. More chapters.
- All this while setting up and escalating the conflicts to drive the Strawhats to the Final War.

People gotta stop thinking that immediately after Wano, Luffy's going to get right back up and say "lets kick the WG's ass". There needs to be buildup to it. Just like there was significant buildup to get us to Wano and the Yonko Arc. Geographically, they aren't even in the right place to be present for it. Fishman Island is poised to be destroyed, meaning that at some point, they have to head in the opposing direction. But they haven't reached the end of the NW yet or Laugh Tale.

So really, it baffles me when timeline comments are made about this. I'm honestly going to laugh if Wano takes another 2 years and Elbaf isn't even the next immediate island:kayneshrug:

nah he got kicked in the spreads color page and that page with luffy jinbei zoro fighting gifters :pepehands::pepehands::pepehands:
Nah, Sanji is just a chill guy that likes to give new members some confidence among the crew. He even kicked Zoro by the wayside to the distant left away from the center picture so Jinbei could have his moment.

Yeah there's just too much to cover for Oda to end the series in just five years. Unless he tries to rush into things and give us a lackluster finish.
