But [1] Elbaf's arc , [2] The Final War , [3] the Journey to Laughtell , [4] getting the last Road ponyglyph , [5] asnwering the void century mysteries , [6] war against BB , [7] meeting Shanks , [8] unveiling Vegapunk and his story , [9] unveiling Dragon and his story how he made Revos and why (maybe more about Ohara's story) and the list goes on and on about things that aren't answered in the OP story ... it's all gonna happen in 5 years ? 5 YEARS ?
The mystery about one piece is reveal in 4 years therefore we will know what one piece is, such as AK, AW, laugh tale, treasure itself etc, but luffy isnt pirate king yet, the crew still need to reach their indiviual goals, the manga still going to resolve what to do about "one piece"(treasure), or what makes one piece so important to their journey,
Well bbs gone get something before the marines now.
He will win that skirmish take it. Whatever that is probably makes shanks say enough and they finally fight.

Elbaf doesnt have to be a huge arc but a small link arc that sets up bigger things like zou (provided meme loses in wano too)
And if pre raftel its just straight up crew vs crew vs bb its doable.
Which is totally fine. I can see it being a huge lore dump for One Piece's geography. There are several hints to OP's world being tied to norse mythology and Elbaf being at the center of it:
- Prince Loki
- Red Line possibly being "Jorgumandr" or the "World Serpent"
- Elbaf's tree being "Yggdrasil and connecting to "other realms" such as sky islands or other islands in general (You can see panels in BM's flashback where it looks like the tree stretches FAR beyond the horizon).
- Elbaf's relevancy in the past with Giants anyway.
I WOULD prefer a full blown adventure arc if the above is something that is going to be explored, but I'd be okay with a shorter exposition arc if need be. However, will all of the teasing Elbaf has gotten in 20 years, I don't see it exactly being "short". At least not Zou "short".

We can put this together like this as many times as we want, but its only an excuse to "comply" with Oda's statements about time remaining.
I just want to point out that if you look at past actions when he has set up major events, it took him multiple arcs to get to those points:
Paramount War: First ominously warned of by Shanks in the 430's. 440's Ace gets defeated by Blackbeard. 480's has Luffy learn that Ace's Vivre card is dwindling. 500's has X Drake confirm there will be a war regarding Ace's arrest. 520's, Luffy learns Ace is captured. We spend the next 60 chapters of Luffy trying to rescue Ace and failing. About ~150 chapters of plot for this War.
War with a Yonko: Beef with BM first teased in 650's. Law offers to ally with Luffy to take out Kaido in the 670's. They kidnap Caesar in the 690's pissing off Doflamingo. They take out Kaido's supplier (Doflamingo) by the 790's. They learn of Wano's predicament by the 820's. They piss off Big Mom to get Sanji back/Obtain her RP by the 890's. Now we are in the 990's dealing the trouble of 2 Yonko. About (so far) 350 chapters of plot for this War.
Final War: The beginnings of it have overlapped with the above War. The Reverie was teased in the 630's. The Reverie was being "prepared" to happen in the 820's, with countries from all over meeting for it. The Reverie happens in the 900's. It "ends" in the 950's, with the fallout from it unknown. We KNOW this is supposed to lead to the beginnings of the final war, however this is really only part of it. You NOW have to get Luffy and crew involved, which, like the previous 2 "wars" will take time building towards. Do I think it will take ~400 chapters to build to it like Wano? No. But do I think it will be significantly larger than both Wars as it happens? Yes. Can I see Oda spending ~400 chapters building to it? Yes, and it just highly depends on what he wants to tackle THAT year when he is drawing.
Aka, building to the final war will take some time.

Let it be known, again, that finding out the true history/Will of D./void century/one piece/whatever does not make narrative sense if you beat the WG first.
They are the reasons those things exist. If they beat them prior to this, it makes finding all of this out entirely pointless.
They can only milk the franchise if Oda let's them, and I have a feeling he may not let them considering. One Piece is one of those stories that probably doesn't need a sequel/prequel. We are seemingly getting everything in these final arcs, right down to flashbacks of certain events (Rocks, Void Century) to virtually every character plotline just being tied up.
And I'm curious to see where he goes post Wano. I'll seriously laugh if Elbaf isn't even next.
I think we have to, but as a measure of Luffy and crew reaching the end of Grandline. Oda showed red line at the halfway mark and used it as a measure of progress at that point.
Though at this point, going to Lodestar isn't really required, so its possible the world events just have them not go there until the end of the story

All the movies they have already put out. Ace's novel. The databooks. The milking already started. Plus Oda probably has a few dozen notebooks full of stuff. They are gonna publish stuff non stop.

Who cares if they are non canon? They are connected to the franchise and used to bring in money like the rest, and Oda is not only giving the ok to them but even collaborates to some extent. The One Piece franchise is Shueisha most valuable assets, debating whether or not they're gonna milk it is like debating if the sky is blue or not lol.
Personally I want Elbaf apart from being a huge lore dump of an arc to be a great last adventure for the SH.
The crew will be completed in Wano with either 1, 2 or 3 new SH so I would like to see an adventure on a smaller scale, a mix of Skypiea and Zou in which the crew is the focus, an adventure like pre timeskip to then face Blackbeard at LaughTale with a strong united crew. When Wano ends the story will move really fast but I still need the SH to take center stage as it has not happened in years.
So I think that finding the One Piece in 4-5 years is very reasonable, then the final war against the WG and when they defeat Imu and as a final grand twist reveal something with Shanks.
I think that ending the story in a war is a bad idea, look at Naruto, so maybe a prologue or more intimate ending with Zoro vs Mihawk and Luffy vs Shank could be great.
We dont need a one piece sequal. The world will be completely different then after the wg is abolished and a new era of peace will begin.
If anything itd be a prequel id rather be shown. Probably garps journey would cover all the big stuff like god valley roger dragons backstory etc

Your original comment was about spin-offs. I personally dont think we'll get them. A ton of high profile manga don't go that route after, unless the author actually approves of it. Approving databooks or a novel of dead characters isn't the same as making sequel or spin-off manga in the canon. Who knows if Oda will allow that, that's my point.
He has said in the past he hopes Shueisha will respect his decision to end the series completely. That interview was this year.
not as a Shanks fan or one piece ... as an editor ... I know it's close to impossible that Shanks Vs Teach happen in a way some fans expect
1- Oda HATE being predictable ... and since he is aware of the fact people predict this fight so he would 100% change his way cause he have open hand to do it
2- Shanks and Luffy HAVE TO meet with each other and I don't think after that they simply change their way ... so at worst case Shanks and Teach gonna be Shanks + Luffy Vs Teach ....
and by worst case I mean if Oda don't have any twist in upcoming arcs
3- Shanks story arc should be about what he wanted to talk about with Gorosei
if people rethink about Marine Ford war they find out that Shanks knew about the possibility of war and foresaw it way before anyone
so I'm sure Shanks plan was about something "end game"
and by any "fair logic" it can't be Teach
- Shanks never wanted to kill Teach
- Shanks as a Yonko have enough power to face Teach
- if two Yonko fight the winner would be as good as gone and this make the final war of Luffy Vs Teach meaningless
so again ... not as a fan ... but as some one who knows the structure of stories and one oda himself
I can see this in 2 way
eirhter
1- Luffy join Shanks and they have their shared story arc
2- they both face Teach cause 1 crew can't take out Teach without being as good as gone
(Shanks may die in this war as well ... Idc ... but he will 100% get his story arc) ....
or
Shanks bring a new twist in the plot
my money is on this one
cause tbh .... I'm not even sure if Oda really put Big Mom and Kaido out of big picture this soon ... so a chance for a massive twist is close to us

p.s
reading "full ace nove" it appear Shanks main base is on some unbelievable place .....
so that can help us "where" the fight gonna happen as well
After Kaido and Big Mom, there's no one left but Blackbeard and the WG. What could these hundred chapters between Wano and the Final Saga (Laugh Tale/Final War) be about? Info dumping?

Spin offs was short for "publish a whole bunch of media products connected to One Piece such as (but not limited to) new movies, new anime, new novels, new manga adaptations even if not drawn and or scripted by Oda, new video games etc. to collect a shitload of money". It doesn't necessarily need to be a Boruto (although there could very well be one), might well be for example a manga exploring the story of the Vinsmokes taking over North Blue.
