the yonko themselves are overhyped, so much so that many fans viewed them as untouchable gods.
In reality, they only have individual strength and are victims of situation, just like every other character in the series. What I mean by this is even if Big Mom can neg diff most of the straw hats in a 1v1, she would still face difficulty fighting them altogether.
Similarly, Kaido will probably take serious damage from the scabbards and his victory will be by a much smaller margin than what most people think. Maybe he won't win at all, perhaps the scabbards will actually get the best of him and nearly kill him, with him only surviving due to luck or perhaps big mom or a calamity intervening.
It wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened to kaido.

Neither. Oda made to much hype for Kaido then realized that he need to finished up Wano and OP in five years. He just quicken the process Kaido got beaten. Instead of using Kawamatsu, Denjiro, Ashura Doji he choose Kinemon who we been seen from PH. Screwed everything around. Oda just quicken the process from unbeatable to normal Kaido. There is nothing shown currently actually what Kaido he been hype before. Nothing of what Kaido in Onigashima from Kaido jumping from sky island and so on. Kaido have become normal villain

And its pretty clear Oda introduced Kaido with numerous defeats/losses and yet he still became a Yonko/Emperor in the end.
the same thing happen with Whitebeard when he fought in Marineford, he got so many wounds and able to endure that wound.
Oda will trying to hype up the Yonko with his durability/endurance at first.
Again, dont go to the "conclusion" so early.
Oden tells Kaido to become stronger. Oden did not fight prime Kaido.

this is not surprising that Kaido can actually be defeated and hurt. on the contrary.
Luffy got his stomach ripped apart and went on to fight for hours.

Nah the damage has been done. Even Big Mom stand up she still be beaten in the end. It just how hype is Wano contry has samurai, we can see what the reality samurai is. The perfect bad guys Kyoshiro turn to good guys Denjiro and now we dont have any worthy samurai anymore as bad guys. This has become fight against Beast Pirate rather how it is in the first place Kaido + Orochi. Not only ninja is disappointing now samurai also.

I can't believe People like Usopp and Nami (all respect to them) can go head to head with BM, One of the four emperors. Franky literally driving over her, some people are OK with it (for laugh sake) but I find it very Irritating.
Give us a good fight where our protagonists defeat a strong, powerful. seriously intemidating antagonists, Don't NERF the bad guys for good guys sake ...

odd definition. neither of them could do anything to her. Nami used a clima tact fueled homie of BM and it did no damage.
and what consequences did that have? nothing.
how is any of this a nerf? BM is simply too powerful that nothing that happens to her ends up relevant.
if you have not noticed this yet you will never get the character and continue to get irritated. which, frankly, is not Odas fault.

Kaido without scale survive jumping from 10000 meter, guillotine blade breaked, hanging rope snap, survive drowning in the sea/water... etc
