Yeah, but also because its incredibly easy now for players to make the HOF tbh
True although most of the time they don't get it right. Like Mitch Richmond is in the hall of fame first over Tim Hardaway, Chris Webber, etc. Objectively, does Rondo have a better case in the HoF than Kyle Lowry? There are cases for Iggy in the freaking HoF and Shawn Marion from before that. Ngl, I'm in favor of putting a lot of guys in the HoF rather than the best of the best but I'm not gonna say they're surefire HoFers though but they have cases, that's for sure.

D-Rose will probably be the most fascinating candidate once he retires. Was his peak long enough to get him to the HoF like Grant Hill (although Hill also had his college accomplishments)?

a lot of players
that were great didnt make hall of fame cause of the chip .

dwight had the stats to esp with what he did in his prime
with the chip now
he's def in.

Rondo had one before
but for someone so high up in the assist leaders , he prob gets in too. winning with both lakers and celtics, two most successful franchises should do the trick

For me, I've always thought Dwight was a first-ballot hall of famer before this win (congrats on winning it in Orlando lol). Rondo was debatable for me because he wasn't Rondo yet when he first won his ring and his prime was short-lived once he tore his ACL but you're probably right that he'll be in the HoF with his 2nd ring. He's probably the only player ever that I can think of to win chips with BOS and LAL, lol.

@RobertoTheOharaSurvivor Is it still fair to say AD is gonna leave LA in free agency? Lol

I dont think AD will
personally
depends on how lebron continues to shape up
lakers also have to start looking at young great pieces. letting go of ingram instead of kuzma might hurt a bit. but LA is a place to attract great players always.

Yeah. I was just astounded that some team executives thought that they had a chance at AD. He looked happy all season when they were doing well.

LA is gonna have a lot of cap room next year and as you said they’re the best attraction. Danny Green’s and KCP’s contracts will expire and they may sign for less. Kuzma will be RFA too and they can let go of him if they can sign a better player. They should get Jrue Holiday next year. One of the best defenders in the game, great secondary playmaker to LeBron, and already has excellent chemistry with AD.

they will resign kcp based on final performance
danny green is iick
if they play their cards right
they should set up in time to get someone like booker to join AD in future
I can see them win one more ring and nothing more due to lebron's age.

Yeah. KCP is also a Klutch client too and Danny Green is still a valuable player but not worth 15 million like he currently is. The hope for the Lakers is too sign them for cheaper deals and resign Caruso too. Get rid of Kuzma and then get a 3rd star. Giannis and Oladipo are free agents. Kawhi, PG, Holiday, Dinwiddie can opt out of player options. Lakers will have enough cap room to get one great player and then fill out with cheap veterans.

AD to the knicks

LMFAO. Damn dude. :mihanha:

But seriously, I don't know what happened to that guy. He used to be so clutch when he went up against Miami in those 2 years. Its really the breaking point for the Clippers next season 'cause if they don't win and Kawhi and PG leave, they're fucked like the Nets from almost a decade ago because they have no draft picks. :tchpepe:

Wow

pg had a shoulder injury after that mvp candidate season he had with okc
he's been inconsistent/streaky since then
if kawhi and pg leave , then yeah they are fucked but ballmer is crazy rich and is still a team in La. They will pick up the slack. A lot of players got were in for the ride and got rings, happy for them still lol.

It'll be interesting if they can re-sign Montrezl Harrell this offseason. He might get 15 million per year and they have little cap space for it. They'll have to run it back again with the same team and also not choke like they did with the Nuggets.

Kuzma's best shot ever.

Wow... Damn, that sucks. Harden era looks uncertain now since he’s pretty much tied with Morey on how they built that roster. 2018 man so fucking close... That was the best time for me in this thread on the old forum, lol.

Would you want him on the Knicks even though y’all had a new front office?
probably no, but thats only because we don't even know what the new FO is planning. every trade rumor you hear about the knicks rn are just speculation from the media, our President/GM haven't actually talked yet surprisingly
