Kaido just says he believes pirates do this. There is no statement saying he thinks he's an exception.

Show a specific part of this statement that implies that Kaido thinks he's am exception to his own definition of pirates

I think Kaido was only created to satisfy japanese national feelings. He is a punchbag. Oda has become obsessed with the samurai/Oden wank and he definitely wont stop.

When Luffy lands a big hit on Kaido the first thing we will see is another Oden flashback or Oden picture. 100%
