Izo is sweating/nervous. To me that just seems like an emotional revelation. Shouldn't have anything to do with Marco knowing Oda's pacing. Could potentially have to do with Kiku but it depends on how its done. She would need to be mortally wounded I think to gain that reaction. It could also be Izo hearing the name "Ace" as a tease to the potential character. All 3 ways would indicate some personal reaction from Izo specifically, though there could be other pages hidden by the image.
What if they announce that Marco got bodied by Big Mom?
If it's Izo specifically then only 2 things will differentiate him from other Scabbards:
- His relationship to Marco/Whitebeard Pirates
- His relationship to Kiku
So either something happened with Kiku or Marco/Whitebeard Pirates
And kalifa pinned down Luffy in Water seven then got beaten by Nami in Ennies lobby
You are focusing way to much on physical strength and stats as in that's the end all be all.
For example Page one's observation haki is seemingly shit so what if Nami makes a bunch of mirages and Usopp just slaps some seastone on page one. Done. You wonder where Usopp found Seastone. One flashback to the any scene from the past explains. There's a bunch of seastone in Udon or something.
Or there's an environmental advantage like a Sea water canal flowing through onigashima so a quick trap here and there and someone falls into the water
Or there's who knows how many things
C'mon man Oda knows how strong these people are. If he wants to think up creative solutions he can.
I mean isn't this the same Usopp who had luffy himself on the ropes for a bit when they fought.
Thing is.... Luffy didnt have a 7 page exchange with kalifa, where he was using haki, G3 and about use G4. If Luffy wasnt using his abilities against the tobi roppo you'd actually have a point but he was. And its not like Ulti and Page One are dumb or anything their competent fighters. Who have haki. Infact Ulti was able to sense luffys strength lol. Tricks from Usopp and Nami arent enough to overcome them.
