No future straw hat was introduced into an arc that late or featured in a cover of jump magazine. They were only shown in a cover of jump magazine after they joined the crew. The only exception is Nami on the first issue in which one piece appeared but that had different circumstances.

Yeah but none of us expected that Robin would suddenly join us right after alabasta. During water 7 some people didn’t expect Franky would join us after what he did ussop. It appears that he seem very important with in water 7 and enis lobby. Some fans didn’t like idea Jinbei joining the crew base on experience, worldly knowledge And strength with different branches of power. There fans who felt “like he was to old. He will spoil adventure. He’s too powerful. Seems more like mentor Figure than actually member. For them doesn’t quirk or gag like other characters. He is so born ing that’s from. They thought he’d be better off if he was dead . He should Join in grand fleet rather main crew”. That from hater perspective. Oda could do thing we don’t expect happens

Nice try, man...I’m pointing out that Carrot isn’t important enough to merit an appearance on the cover with the main character before she even joins, and you wanna argue semantics. Every other SHP has appeared on the cover in the arc of their introduction (except Jinbe), so showing up on the front notably foreshadows whether or not someone will be meaningful to the story in a starring capacity. Oh, I haven't even started arguing against Yamato. My only point was, if you're gonna use the WSJ cover as a point for Yamato and a mark against Carrot, there's precedent that suggests the opposite is just as likely. But I'm ready to throw down the gauntlet if that's what you want.

That’s a fair point, though I would argue that Rayleigh and Law are a bit different from Yamato as neither of them have been ordered by Luffy to do anything. Meanwhile Yamato was recently ordered by Luffy to protect Momonosuke.

That being said I don’t personally think getting on the magazine cover really proves or disproves somebody’s chances of becoming a SH. It just means they are or will become prominent within that arc.

I dunno, I feel like the Levely was partially set up for Vivi to become relevant in the story arc once again.

Since Imu has his sights specifically on Vivi, I suspect that this situation is ripe for her to become a fugitive if she somehow escaped the Governement’s clutches.

How would she have escaped? I think she has a chance either with the help of Sabo and the revolutionaries or Kuma’s devil fruit abilities.

Where would she find protection? The revolutionaries seem like a good option but the SHs themselves also would seem valid in this situation.

The latter option would also fulfill the promise the SHs made with Vivi at the end of Alabasta.

Also just a quick correction, Jinbe joined during Whole Cake Island, not Wano.

Yamato is uncertain, but its my belief that she'll have something to do with Momo, whether it be influence, inspiration, or the theme of hating one's heritage/family (considering she's Kaido's daughter).

With Carrot, you don't know. She was pushed to the background for Act 2 because the Minks had to be in hiding, so we never got to see them (outside Inuarashi), then she returns when the raid begins with the Straw Hats. While Yamato has a strong presence, I think Oda had to do that for a character that literally showed up 70+ chapters into an arc they weren't foreshadowed in nor referenced. I guess time will tell. I just strongly feel Carrot's confrontation with Perospero will let us know where she goes in the story since it never made it clear.

Yamato would face more backlash being yonko’s child that ruined there country for 20 + years. Not just by her father’s crew but by wano citizen. The One piece world very discriminatory base on lineages like criminal acts, people who oppose the government, and your child of criminal. Just because aiding the ally forces doesn’t mean the world will automatically trust her as person. Sure Momo some of samurai could try voucher for her. But the citizen of wano and others outside wano are not so sure about this if they can fully trust her base 20 years rule and oppression by her father and orochi. Even though she had nothing do with it the world doesn’t see that way. Knowing this aspect she fits a lot with straw hats. Especially knowing that cp0 is there she she is likely going get bounty on her head. Which would cause her to leave as she originally attend.

Yamato has this unexplainable fascination with Oden, wanting to follow his will like all his retainers are trying to do, and basically cosplays as the man and adopting his gender. I know this will eventually get addressed, but from my point of view, Oden was more than just a person wanting to leave an isolated country and we honestly don't know what will happen once Wano's borders open. So I'm anticipating that.

To some degree sanji’s faces it now since there part the vinesmoke the family of assassins. Yamato is a virtual unknown from their perspective they are not really familiar with her. They only see her Kaido’s kid. Kaido did mention her being the next shogun of wano. Which Yamato herself turn that down immediately. It's not like that. The Kurozumi family had a deep rooted history of trying to assassinate the Kozuki family and ever since then they have been persecuted relentlessly, whether innocent or guilty. This is all due to the close minded nature of the country. Oden actually points that out. Because of said discriminatory actions, this led to the rise and resentment of Orochi, who has been on the receiving end of said transgressions.

Yamato will by no means be accepted by the citizens of Wano, thus making her an outcast. However, unless Kanjuro and Orochi are suddenly forgiven for all the shit they've done, then the citizens have to accept the criticism of said actions. Whether its done quickly or not, Yamato will be that person who will be given that answer. Especially now since she saved both Shinobu and Momonosuke. They're eye witnesses.
