Street shootings? Poverty, Drugs, and communities who enable this behavior with their no snitching policies(especially here in Illinois) that prevent cops from actually catching the culprits lol.

main issue if lobbying in congress, groups like the NRA can create their own laws and be able to sell a shitload of guns, it's why states have such few regulations on purchasing guns

Drug dealers, criminals etc can maybe have weapons illegally okay (like in the rest of the world) but what about the rest ? The youngs ones, the school boys, the people etc won't be able to put their hands on weapons if its illegal. This will already change things a lot.

Removing guns NOW especially with the rioting, lack of trust for law enforcement, won't solve crimes or school shootings, it just won't, unless you can stop the trafficking altogether, you're gonna see another mass shooting happen.
