I don't watch mainstream news, I live in Illinois, a Blue state, that allowed riots and looting to get ugly to the point where the city was put on a curfew lockdown and much like the seattle incident, the "protesters" targeted the chicago mayor(another democrat) and only then she finally did something.

I'm basing this by all the accounts and interviews from the people who were actually there, far as my city goes, I saw first hand what was going on considering the looting started to spread into neighborhoods(including where I lived) before curfews.

Hi! I attended a protest in the PNW, everything was totally peaceful between the protestors AND police until self-identified right-wing Proud Boys showed up with guns and started smashing car and store windows. Unsurprisingly, they were also the only people NOT wearing masks to stop the spread of COVID. Not sure your experience or mine are accurately indicative of anyone else’s, but there’s clearly agitation on both sides (and in my personal experience, more from the right than the left), so maybe don’t paint with so broad a brush?? 😊
