What's the Strongest Crew/Org in One Piece

Wanted to see people's thought on who are the strongest groups either Pirate Crews or Orgs in One Piece history so made this poll/discussion ... feel like in this arc we had a lot of reveals on old Crews so this is pretty exciting to see

I took the top 8 fighters from each crew and excluded any allies or it would be too complicated cause how you fit Kuzan with BBP or the WB's allies who seemed to be part of his crew at one point

The top 8 is obviously debatable but it's approximative so I hope ppl don't get stuck on that like you could put Who's Who instead of anyone from the bottom 4 for the Beast Pirates or you can shuffle around with the last 2 spots in BlackBeard's crew with anyone else and same goes for Whitebeard as they use a weird system (I also added Yamato to the SH and Jabura to CP-0 to round out top 8 cause they are the most likely joining each crew)


I will start with the 3 disbanded Crews :
Rocks Pirates (Rocks D. Xebec)


Roger Pirates (Gol D. Roger)



WhiteBeard Pirates (Edward Newgate)

Probably the 3 most Legendary Crews/Orgs we know off so far , extreme powerhouses at their peak and extremely versatile fighters and legends on each crew , next is the 3 non-Pirates Orgs :


Marines (Sakazuki)



Revolutionary Army (Monkey D. Dragon)



Cipher Pol Aigis Zero (???)

For the rest it's quite obvious , it's the current Pirate crews PowerHouses so the current 5 Emperors of the Sea :

Big Mom Pirates (Charlotte LinLin)



Beast Pirates (Kaido)



Red Haired Pirates (Shanks)



BlackBeard Pirates (Marshall D. Teach)



StrawHat Pirates (Monkey D. Luffy)

Hopefully it's a fun discussion, if you want to order these from 1 to 11 or just vote the poll (you can vote for your top 3) ... would like to see people's perspectives on these Crews and their strength as a collective (for those that will ask about the Tier Maker Here)

For the Disbanded ones it's obvious so let's exclude them from current discussion:

1 - Roger Pirates (i dont know why ppl rate Rocks crew > Roger crew i think Rogers are clearly superior )

2 - Rocks Pirates

3 - WhiteBeard Pirates


Current time :

1 - Marines : the strongest by far not really a contest actually

2 - Red Haired Pirates : I think the weakest Yonko individually has the strongest crew to balance it out

3 - BlackBeard Pirates : all notorious level 6 captains that make this crew extremely dangerous together and it goes same logic as previous second weakest Yonko individually rn has the second strongest crew

4 - Big Mom Pirates : really impressive crew but mainly carried by Big Mom's reputation

5 - Beast Pirates : idk , it's Kaido and friends and it get worse the lower you go with the garbage smiles

6 - StrawHat Pirates : the GOATs by the end of this Wano arc they should be over the Beast Pirates and close to the Big Mom Pirates

7- Revolutionary Army : had high hopes til they showed their regional commanders which are all wack wish they get Kuma back and I hope they shaded red dude is as strong as Dragon maybe the guy he formed the Revo with or someone really important we don't know yet

8 - CP0 : ??? they have to be strong but idk cause they promoted previous CP9 instead of introducing completely new unit which i dont like

People don't get that the Marines aren't just strong due to the Admirals, but rather due to having about 100K(and rising due to Akainu's drafts) Elite fighters. Oda even used Zoro to state that Fishmen are a joke compared to Elite Marine Soldiers.

Meanwhile the Yonko Crews seem to have a 40K average

The Number gap is a big deal no matter how many times people here insist that numbers don't matter in One Piece

Obviously if it were to miltary strength CP0 or RA wouldn't even be on the list , I just wanted to compare the top fighters vs the top fighters but yeah I agree overall as an org the Marine are clear cut best

Just wanted to round out the SH cause I already talked about this in another thread but the SH overall need a strength boost and Yamato fit that bill perfectly even if she doesn't join and it's Carrot instead (downgrade strength wise but whatever) it's still the same ... I already mentioned this that I added Jabura and Yamato to get 8 strong fighters in their respective crews

1- The God Valley war was 10~ years before the Roger Pirates hit their peak

2- We don't even know if Rayleigh and Gaban participated in that war let alone the rest of the crew (I think they did personally but we dont know)

3- Oden wasn't even there and for me Oden could be even considered 2nd strongest in Roger Pirates and later dominated Kaido one of the top tiers in Rocks' crew


And most importantly because now in hindsight 20/20 we see that every pirate on that crew when they split up they became something huge but at the time they were weaker AND if you this same exercise with exceptionally strong crews you will find the same result to explain :

- Roger Pirates if each formed a pirate crew so Rayleigh made his own , Gaban made his own and Oden made his own with the scabards 40 years later they would be as notorious if not more than Big Mom or Kaido (Rayleigh as far as we know didn't have a crew after Roger and is still considered a Legend and compared to WB)

- WhiteBeard Pirates , it's not obvious but in 10 years from now we would look at the WBP as the crew that had Teach, Marco , Vista and Jozu all who with their own crew could build an insane reputation and Teach has already done it

- Red Haired Pirates , same goes for them they are already insanely hyped each individually and if you give them the same time and split them up we would look back at them the say way we look at Rocks

- And the Obvious is EOS SH would all literally be legends together in one crew


So the notion that the all star roster Rocks had couldn't be matched is a lie cause again hindsight 2020 we know they all became notorious

cause Rocks Pirates have 5 top tiers in it ... 1 of them is a man MIN level Pirate King level and another man is almost Prime Beard
2 of them are enough to end Roger Pirates ... no need for any other help

the only crew in pirate history that earn the name of "strongest crew" by officials is Rocks Pirates .... Roger Pirates were equal to WB

at this point denying Rocks pirates being a freaky power house unlikely anything history saw ... is not logical ... and we didn't even saw their full power yet

Among living orgs not counting Marines it’s probably Red Hair pirates.

But if Mihawk were to make a crew out of monkeys with Perona as his first mate...

Then damn he’d be Pirate King in 6 months and would overthrow the WG and install himself as the king of the world !

Bro you're projecting 40 years in the future at the time they lost Kaido and Big Mom were young rookies and WB wasn't even close to his prime to go later and rival Roger

idk how I keep repeating myself but other crews like Roger's , WB's or RH's could've had the prestige of Rocks' if x year after they disband their individual become big things

But at the time they disbanded they weren't as OP as everyone thinks they are cause if they truly were as OP then literally nothing beats them not even Roger/Garp teamup
