Luffy collided with a Big Mom elbow.
While Marco collided with Big Mom punching using his elemental power

There is a huge difference here, and Marco still has the power to regenerate

Katakuri: literally spends 5+ hours of in story time fighting the main character in his base form

Some people: Katakuri >> Marco and also Perospero ~ Marco.

Oda set up so much bad blood and emotional investment between the two duos only so that he could toss it aside and have Usopp and Nami do nothing but maybe take out 2 random Numbers?

Bad blood is the wrong term, its not like both duos are arch enemies. But yeah they will def get a rematch and "prove their strength" to the dino siblings
