Pica is a villain and not even a main one at that. Also just looking at everything in totality, there's more going for Zoro being involved vs Kaido than not:

- Kaido can't be 1v1'd, it'll be a group battle
- Zoro has Enma, relationship with Oden's former sword
- Zoro wanted to go with Luffy to Kaido
- Zoro now says he wants to help Kinemon and others vs Kaido

It's now more than once he has verbally stated his intention of fighting Kaido

I dont doubt that zoro can or Will kill kaido, but that dont make him not even close to oden lvl yet ,since zoro to do that Will have LOTS of help by LOTS of people Fighting kaido at the same time, while ODEN was ALONE and would Win If not the old hag.

Oh you are talking about context after lot of 'out of context' posts to elevate Marco and downplay other top commanders. Irony.

During the story:
Marco has fought six top tiers.
Katakuri has fought 0.

Even if Marco didn’t actually hold his own, the fact that he’s constantly being paired up with them by Oda means something.

That’s about as good as a portrayal argument can get.

Theres more relating Zoro to Orochi than there is Kaido. Those plot points are actually pertinent to his interactions thus far in Wano. Him wanting to fight Kaido has had little setup.

Luffy has more plot points with Big Mum than with Kaido but we know he's fighting Kaido.

BM has marco in her hands, a woman that with amnesia without using haki or her DF made Queen a zoan and a YC2 like NOTHING.

Now ,she besides being absurdly strong she is not with amnesia and have haki and her DF and have marco in her hands by the neck.

By any means i see marco be more of tank than Queen to hold hits of BM, he would get DESTROYED If she wanted that way, what we know about her raw strenght during the series proves It to me. And the simple fact shes a YONKO and marco a comander even more.

For me is clear a touch of mercy by BM and a wish to Join the battle she came to wano to fight.

It's clear plot armor and convenience so Marco can help the rest of the Alliance and heal others with his df later in the arc.
