All this talk about Kaido dying or not does have me wondering one thing.
If Kaido doesn't die, what could happen to him by the end of the arc instead?
If the marines don't show up then i feel like they can't just let him lie unconscious to be dealt with by someone else like they did with Doffy/Crocodile.
Would it be lame if he decided to just leave by the end so he could be present at the final war.

I'm saying if One Piece remains One Piece, then yes, Zoro will not kill Kaido. I don't understand how this is bullshit?

It's a fact in the sense that everything that's been set up thematically for 1000 chapters is for that to be Luffy's role. If you're talking about possibility in a general sense, I guess anything is possible. But if you've been following a story that's consistent 100% of the time with certain themes and pay offs, why would you think it'll change?

I mean I'll admit I was wrong if Zoro actually kills Kaido. But it would be because Oda a 1000 chapter setup. I don't mean to purposely contentious, and I know you guys put alot of emotional investment arguing for certain points, I just don't think it's in the realm of the One Piece story to build up a plot line like this and not have it pay off the way it's been set up.

These are all good questions that I have no answers to. I have no idea what'll happen to Kaido after Luffy beats him.
You keep banging on about the rules of one piece. One is luffy doesnt kill.
Killing kaido isnt coming from just kaidos side but from wanos side from oden to yasu to kinemon to doji and much more. They dont want to beat kaido that point has veen hammered ALL ARC. Even the citizens in the fire festival have said. They want kaido and orochi DEAD.
Of course you cant answer them because all external forces are busy and or clashing with each other and theres no external force thats gonna kill/take away kaido yet leave luffy alone. Be it bb or the marines. Yet we know end of wano is a feast and the opening of the borders. A happy ending.
Kaido dying is ALL thats been set up. Even from the legends of dragons being slain above the flower capital to oden saying he wants to take his head. Thats been a constant in wano for generations.

Lotta people with Zoro living rent free even though he is not mentioned in this chapter and we're back to talking about dressrosa.

Really want to see Kaido's attack
He really is the protagonist of OP, talked more about than Luffy

zoro didn't kill mr 7 or the 100 people at whiskey peak lol. the samurai is probably the ONLY one you can point to though its not a major enemy. zoro barely kills just like luffy. this logic about zoro killing kaido because luffy doesn't do it makes no sense
Except that he did kill those ppl lol
