I didn't quite understand your point but I assume you meant to disagree because the insecurities that creates the current toxicity atmosphere might not go, Right?
This is true, but keep in mind that every fandom would have seen their faves shined (hopefully) by the end of the series and those insecurities would somewhat fade eventually so the toxicity should be gone by that time
So there is still hope people come back to the series after it's done with a new perspective to look at other characters without bias

Itโs a fact that Zoro hasnโt clashed with a YC1 while Sanji has. Itโs a fact that Sanji has clashed with a Yonko while Zoro was shitting himself when he saw that Yonko. - When Zoro fans talk about Zoro teaming up with Luffy against Kaido, Sanji fans gonna be like that's impossible and it's never going to happen. Do you realize that if Zoro doesn't fight Kaido then he will fight King? Because Zoro always fights the second strongest. You want Sanji to fight King right? Then you need to understand that if that happens then Zoro will fight a stronger opponent than King.

No wonder why you get disappointed all the time. Because you settle high expectations for Sanji's fights, which is fair, but at the same time you downplay Zoro, and you tend to forget that he always gets the second strongest. This time is not different.
