Bakkins has to come into play somewhere down the line this arc, not only because of her being a former Rocks member, but also due to her suggesting Weevil to find Marco & Luffy who are at the same place now.
Don't know how Shakky will be involved, we'll probably just see her in an interlude chapter reminiscing her time in the crew while sitting besides Rayleigh or something.
About the others like Captain John, Silver Axe etc..., knowing about Moria's past beef with Kaido and how he has them as general Zombies, I have to wonder if Oda will try tying those two plots thread. Especially with the speculation of Blackbeard coming at the end of this arc and how Moria can potentially be his underling now.
Do you really think Xebec is dead? A man of his stature and whose past exploits have yet to be fleshed out, not to mention how Oda isn't letting us see Kaido & BM even mention him once yet.
I'm not advocating him being alive on a random island waiting for revenge but curious on where Oda's taking his character moving forward.
The thing that bugs me the most is the fates of Kaido & BM this arc. Do you really believe that they'll be defeated this arc before realizing any of their goals pertaining to the ancient weapons?
Oh all of this totally plays into my confusion as to how it all is supposed to pan out.
Its like the whole "New Onigashima" speech. Oda would not have let Kaido make that speech if he wasn't going to show us some iteration or version of that plan coming to fruition. Here we are 12 chapters later with the entire island flying to Wano for that exact reason.
Yes, then you have Bakkin/Weevil, or Rocks himself, or a variety of other characters supposedly tied to the event, but none of the actual presence of any outside of BM/Kaido. Even the ancient weapons, at least 2 of them, are beyond the reaches of Kaido/BM in Wano (Poseidon and Pluton; we technically have no idea who or what Uranus is)
The only thing outside of this arc that may extend or tie the Rock plot past Kaido/BM is possibly Shanks and Blackbeard. With Blackbeard seemingly becoming the living will of Rocks (even his Ship is named after him) and Shanks being as old as the God Valley incident, there is potential that the Rocks storyline only begins with Kaido/BM, but continues until the conclusion of the story.
