Why would Oda draw the tonfa in front of his body and being cut if he didn't want to show Apoo trying to block Zoro's attack.

If Oda wanted us to know that Zoro hit him because Drake created a opening anything like that he would have drawn it that way but he didn't. Instead, he had Zoro cut through Apoo block and had Drake completely surprised and shook by Zoro's speed and attack.

If their statements are completely irrelevant then why did Oda add it to the scene. It's more you don't care about their statement. Guess what,.that doesn't matter. They going to have a greater understand Kyoshiro strengthen Zoro or any of us readers so this statement holds a lot of weight.

Cool. Zoro is somewhat impressed as he was with Killer. Doesn't mean much when he turns the heat up a few notches and they can't even keep up no more.

We seen what Kyroshiro had against Kaido and it wasn't much more he had up his sleeve that he didn't showcase against Zoro. Meanwhile we know Zoro has so much more to showcase if he really want to eviscerate Kyroshiro.
