Chapter Discussion Stephen Paul on "slay/kill"

I don't get what's so important.... Cut/Kill/Slay... are lead to the same type of intention Zoro has... It's not like Zoro just wanted to say "I want to wound Kaido and inflict a scar".... rather he meant cut him down as in "defeat him"
Now, at the same time, We have Luffy who says "kick your ass" also can lead to "defeat" and he also announced defeating Kaido...
Kidd also claimed that he will kill Kaido and take off his head..... so he announced he will defeat him...

MOST PEOPLE who came to Onigashima they intended to fight Kaido.... the Red Scabbard claimed they will KILL kaido too... and lookk what happened to them...

So, basically, not anyone who says "I will defeat Kaido" will eventually pull it off... and Zoro does intend to Kill Kaido.. or at least cut him DOWN = Defeat him... but would he pull it off? or will it end like Enel Style?
Luffy wants to beat Kaido... will he be the one?
or is it Kidd??

Point is... people are angry and argue over a translation that is not even belittling the idea of "Zoro killing Kaido" it's the same god damn result... what's more important is... What is Oda's plan? who among the ones announced they will defeat Kaido will be the real dude who pulls it off

Oh, let's not forget Yamato too who wants to defeat her pops LOL...

Stephen Paul doesn't understand the difference between greatest swordsman and strongest swordsman.

Whitebeard wasn't the greatest man, but you can say mihawk is the greatest swordsman.

He says both are true, greatest swordsman and strongest swordsman are both correct. :milaugh:

Zoro fans finally understood why Stephen Paul is not making any sense. :steef:

Except he puts strongest in the manga
The saikyo (strongest) doesnt change for wb or Mihawks title.

Don't take all Zoro fans, it was one like you who asked him a question or maybe should I say that all luffy fans also don't believe in stephen ? :steef:

''Both greatest and strongest represent the same thing''

- No one calls Whitebeard as the greatest man, they use the same abc logic with google translation to compare the titles :steef:

- Then Zoro fans goes to twitter and asks Paul; ''but you said he was sTronGeSt sWordSmAn before'' and cries over it :suresure:

Erkan thinks the title is the most skillful, which in the end also means the same thing as greatest and strongest - nr1. :myman:

Hes clearly talking about the topic of mihawk.
What hes saying is regardless mihawk is above all the other swordsmen.
When he translated it he put the correct STRONGEST if he thought what youre saying he would never have changed it from greatest.
Wb and mihawk have the same titles apart from the end.
WORLDS STRONGEST man/swordsman

Because Greatest man can literally describe morality more than strength!
While Greatest swordsman or Strongest swordsman is strength related, so there is no difference here

It's just fans are nitpicking to push their Agenda so that they can belittle Mihawk title and say "it's just technique, no strength"
Lol
Some fans are so desperate to change a clear proven fact to pusg an agenda... in Mihawk case, I'm talking about Shanks fans naturally
