so i personally think shanks is strongee than mihawk


but im not sure why.
Mihawk is the wss so he has better Swordsmanship

so is it simply shanks conquerors haki, both conquerors and observation haki or does shanks have a special fighting style that makes him stronger?

Beside the fact that Mihawk got cockblocked by Vista while Shanks makes Akainu shits his pant who also blocked both Marco and Vista's haki imbued attacks easily, there's nothing to put Shanks above Mihawk at all. Unless you think that Mihawk is a pure swordsman and Shanks is a Haki God of course.

We just don't know enough about both. Tbh, I expect Mihawk and Shanks to be Zoro and Luffy's final fights respectively so i don't really have a bias on who is truly "stronger". Both are extremely powerful individuals, and we have no idea (nor any other Yonko or top-tier character) what their upper limits are. We soon will start learning, but it hasn't happened yet.

I'd say they're about equal. There's no clear winner of their duels and then Shanks became a Yonko. While Mihawk became a Warlord.
