Powers & Abilities Oda is being very one dimensional with Kid’s power

Luffy is a physical fighter and look how much he developed his DF, there is no excuse for Oda not to have developed Kid’s DF at all.
There are magnetic forces in the human body and in the earth itself, he could do so many things by manipulating them rather than do the basic push/pull of metal objects and creating a metal arm.
He should also be able to amplify the magnetic forces in his own body to fly around. There are so many cool things he could do which I have in my head.
I know Oda could do amazing things with Kid if he stopped being lazy about his powers.

It is wrong when you take a character who has survived throughout the New World and fought yonko crews to not have improved at all in terms of DF usage, that’s just dumb writing and doesn’t make any sense, I didn’t know whether he would do something different but based on what Kid said last chapter he hasn’t improved anything about his DF.
Kid isn’t a dumb character and even dumb characters are improving what they have, this is Oda being lazy with Kid’s power.

That is Kid’s character flaw. He’s extremely arrogant and zealous, never backing down, and almost never learning from his mistakes.
There are a lot of people like that in the world. Those who despise being told they are wrong, not trusting people outside your circle, living in your own bubble. It’s these qualities which prevent Kid from reaching the same heights as Luffy.

You clearly don’t know about Kid’s character if you think that, nothing you said about him is true except that he’s arrogant and never backs down which aren’t bad qualities, also Luffy has those same qualities and he’s the zealous one so your point doesn’t make sense in the context of what we’re talking about. You’re just rationalizing why he hasn’t improved his DF usage with bs excuses.
Kid learns from his mistakes too like not accepting to be part of Luffy’s alliance when he was already betrayed once and I don’t know what you’re talking about in terms of Kid reaching Luffy’s heights, I think he’s stronger than him.

1. You’re under the assumption Luffy and Kid are the same. They share qualities, but they aren’t carbon copies. Luffy knows how to discern people’s intentions in a way Kid can’t/won’t. To start off, Kid wasn’t the one who wanted to team up with Apoo and Hawkins, it was Killer who suggested it from the start. Kid took what happened with Hawkins and Apoo as confirmation of his original thoughts.
2. I’m not rationalizing anything. I’m basing my thoughts on Kid as he has been written up t’ill now. While on the other, you’re not satisfied with Oda’s handling with Kid because it’s not congruent with your pre existing notions, such as Kid being stronger than Luffy.

You’re rationalizing again, Kid was perfectly fine with the alliance untill he opened the door and saw Apoo attacking his men, that’s when he decided to fight Apoo instead and he was right to, Apoo was working for Kaido.
When he ended up betrayed he just decided not to make alliances again so he didn’t use it as confirmation of what he previously thought.
