It's not Yamato following orders, it's Yamato directly paralleling Oden, heck Oden is literally based on the mythological story of Yamato Takeru.
You're triggered, sorry you're too stubborn and narcissistic to admit when you're wrong.
If Caribou joins, he's been drip fed since post timeskip sabondy.
If Carrot joins, she's been drop fed since zou
Jinbei was drip fed since impel down and even ties back to an east blue antagonist, he's pretty much full developed at this point, other mangaka would give him more focus and characterization, but this is oda, he won't give jinbei a bunch of time. In east blue, we got a new strawhat every arc.
Also if we are getting more strawhats, it'll be quickly, because for obvious reasons, there are only a few more arcs left of one piece and someone new won't show up to be introduced during the final war arc.
I don't give a shit about carrot as a character tbh, but she's not new, she's be a pseudo strawhat for the last 2-3 arcs.
I like how your last line implies you're right when we're talking about future events.
But hey, you can be boring and only talk about stuff that happened, while the rest of us are actually talking about interesting future events.
Yamato gets some character development through the final war, gets Oden vibes, gets a cool unique devil fruit, blah blah blah, leaves wano with the strawhats, possibly like oden did, without luffy asking him to join but Yamato forcing it, and eventually being accepted.
Carrot kind of just is openly accepted in a casual thing cuz she's pretty much one already.
Caribou goes on the boat for a while following this arc, Caribou already mentioning joining Luffy's ship (ie crew) and Luffy didn't refuse or anything, eventually becomes an official member and gets some character motivation why he hates marines (like maybe he was an ex slave to the gorousei, and he kidnapped the mermaids to draw them out so he could kill one)

With the revelations of that magazine or shit it means that there is one mor straw hat at least joining.
I just don't think Oda would add 2 straw hats atm. + Yamato brings nothing besides muscle which is unnecessary because Straw hats are protected by the plot.
Unless you are one of the people who would push carrot or Yamato to fucking position like lookout or log keeper which is straight up dumb because Luffy don't give a fuck about shit like that.

I also doubt she will abandon Oden thing which pushes me away from her each chapter.
She said that she can die for momo and etc but I can't imagine someone who was basically brainwashing himself for 20 years that he's oden to drop it like that.
The blindside or the attack aren't that impressive considering Oven has constantly been portrayed as a powerful but lumbering tank.

I mean the strawhats don't get character focus after their initial arc outside of sanji anyway, so might as well at least add some new characters to the strawhats to give oda more options with comedy + add some more combatants for the final run.
Its not even about character focus, its focus in general. The more characters you add to the crew less focus the crew as a whole will get. Thats why after Alabasta when Robin joined, Oda giving a fight to every individual strawhat in the crew stopped...... In Skypiea, Sanji and Usopp were the ones who didn't get a fight, Enies Lobby it was Robin and Usopp , Thriller Bark it was Franky, Brook and Robin, Fishman Island fights got the least focus in any arc plus Nami and robin don't get a fight, Dressrosa, half of the crew leaves the arc plus Usopp and Robin don't get fights. so yea....Adding Yamato would just take away from other crew members.

"Luffy doesn't give a shit about shit like that", lookout is very important, and Luffy never specifically went out looking for a helmsman either.
Caribou would be quartermaster (he's an infinite bag of holding)
Carrot would be lookout (literally what she did at wholecake island)
Yamato could be any number of things. Yamato Takeru once dressed like a maid and served alcohol to infiltrate a location, Yamato could be that. Yamato Takeru is famous for creating a style of poetry along with his mystical adventures, he could record strawhat events and also recite/write japanese poetry to bookend certain situations. (and even could be turned to comedy cuz even though it's good, luffy is like "Gross"), Yamato could work in the kitchen as a bartender of sorts (zoro would like one of those) because of the dressing up like a maid story of Yamato Takeru. He also can be a performer/dancer of traditional japanese stuff like taiko and all that.
I mean it's not like musician is an important role, especially not compared to a quartermaster or lookout.
The strawhats were fine with their ship till they weren't and usopp was no longer good enough to repair it, and they got franky.
The strawhats were fine without a helmsman based on just having a good ship, until they needed it when they got to the new world and serious shit started happening with yonkous, and they got jinbei.
Caribou would fill the role Nami does as a passive, but as a more skilled version of it, like how franky was more skipped than usopp, also it's stop nami from hoarding a lot of it lol
Carrot would allow her to detect enemies much sooner, plus you can probably picture her just smoothly flipping her way up there to look through a magnified glass to see someone. Also just assume she has some sort of instinct that would make her good at the role considering she's a mink with animalistic senses.
Yamato just kind of forces his way into the crew, like how he did on whitebeard.

I mean let's be honest, the strawhats outside of the east blue are just there to add more dynamics to group comedy routines, and ocassionally fight someone.
Thriller Bark was built around strawhats vs oars.
Fishman Island was literally intended to bring forth an anti-racist sentiment, to introduce shirahoshi, re-introduce jinbei, and for the strawhats to flex on much weaker opponents to showcase their post timeskip powers.
Usopp and Robin got fights, Robin just was a team up with Bart and Cavendish, while Usopp had A LOT of focus with his god stuff and everything, and literally defeated a key player in the doflamingo pirates and saved luffy and whoever else was with him via it with his sniping feat. Usopp is a sniper, him sniping a very important enemy is him at his best, he doesn't need to punch someone to matter, he defeat sugar TWICE.
Dressrosa was focused on Law, the doflamingo pirates, Kyros, Rebecca, Bellamy, and the strawhat grand fleet.

No one cares about that Yamato takeru shit. You watch too many one piece YouTubers.
Like seriously no one talks about this man. I know that one piece youtubers rape these theories about symbolism here and there. Something dragon tiger blah blah.
Oda likes well written story but he doesn't plan everything like this. Right now we are going to pick up the pace of the war there will be not much time for Straw Hats to build a proper feelings for yamato enough to consider her a Nakama.
Ofc she may force herself on the ship and the end. We will see.
For now I don't see any signs of Yamato joining the crew.
Interacting with Luffy does not guarantee you a place on the crew.
Bro were talking about Zoro and Jimbei, Im not worried about "Judge's son" he's right where he should be tbh and always has been. Not too strong not too weak, he's just right for the situation. Were gonna have to agree to disagree about this Zoro and Jimbei thing and just wait to see how this arc plays out.

I'm a big fan of japanese mythology, I was the kind of person talking about orochimaru's references to yamata no orochi and how itachi defeated him when he came out of sasuke was symbolic, along with orochimaru's sword coming out of his mouth. I just know a lot about youtube, I don't watch anime youtubers.
I mean not to say the people I watch aren't fans of anime, but what I watch on youtube is stuff like Vaush, SomeOrdinaryGamers, etc.
Oden is objectively based on Yamato Takeru, and Yamato being inspired off of Oden, is another tie to Yamato Takeru.
Sorry, but oda takes A LOT from mythology, be it impel down being a direct comparison to zeus's attack on the greek underworld during the titanomachy to free allies in tartarus (6 layers of the greek underworld, 6 impel down floors, lowest realm of the greek underworld being tartarus) and killling campe, a poison snake dragon thing that magallan is directly a reference to.
Oda throws so much mythology into the story, and Yamato Takeru is objectively the basis for Oden (plus a little heracles I'd say)
"Oden doesn't plan everything like this"
Here is a direct wikipedia quote (it's just a quick source):
"His father, the emperor KeikΕ, feared his brutal temperament. To keep him at a distance, the father sent him to Izumo Province, today the eastern part of Shimane Prefecture, and then the land of Kumaso, today Kumamoto Prefecture. However, Takeru succeeded in defeating his enemies"
" He lost his wife Oto tachibana-hime during a storm when she sacrificed herself to soothe the anger of the sea god. He defeated many enemies in the eastern land "
Like, I don't know how anyone can deny the clear inspirations of Oda's characters from mythology and history, One Piece is literally filled of them, it's like someone trying to claim comparing game of thrones to the war of roses is stupid or something.
Oden literally knew the whitebeard pirates for less time than Luffy and Yamato, considering there is the war, the cool down after the war, etc. He'd be developed in the next few arcs.
Yamato to Luffy is literally 1:1 of Oden and Whitebeard so far. Yamato shows up out of the blue without announcing themselves, says stuff to make Luffy go off balance, says stuff about how he's going to join Luffy's crew, does wild stuff like going out of hiding fo rthe full on assault that caught Luffy (who usually would do this sort of stuff) off guard, Yamato's great desire to leave the island, etc.
You're right, interacting with Luffy doesn't, but Yamato is directing paralleling Oden rn, and Yamato is anxiously wanting to leave Wano. I see one of two options: Momo leaves wano with his scabbards because it's taken over by the marines or they fail against kaidou, or because he wants to leave and it's in good hands with like his sister taking over wano so that momo can go off and be free for a while like oden, and he either tags along on momo's boat or tags along on the strawhat boat as a "member", but a temp one, kind of like how some of the scabbards were only whitebeard/roger pirates for a bit before going back. ORRRRR, he just outright joins Luffy's crew.
There doesn't seem to be any other alternative to these considering he's's not leaving by herself, the scabbards aren't going anywhere without momo being in charge, and yamato definitely isn't staying in wano by his own intense desire to leave to see the world.
As weve seen with the latest chapter....the new Monster Trio is:
Luffy
Sanji
Jinbe
I say this because their is only a select few SHs, going to Kaido. And those are the strongest....the rest sadly are to weak to get to the top.
I also want to talk about the Monster Trio Heiarchy.
We clearly can see Luffy is the strongest, and now who is the second strongest. By feats already given we can already can see with the Wadatsumi fight....
Jinbe setted him up....and Sanji finished him off.
However I also want to talk about potrayal, it seems Jinbe always brings up Sanji along with Luffy....as his superior.
Jinbe wants to escort them both, and wants them both to savour their strength. Knowing theyre both more essential to the fight then he is....
However this isnt the only case Jinbe has shown inferiority.
Here shows he asks for their permission for the allaince with Bege.
--------------------
Another interesting set up for the Monster Trio is back in the East Blue. When only the original members of the Monster Trio ( Luffy and Sanji) learnt about Jinbe.
And now theyre all the Monster Trio together. Amazing forshadow
Anyways im excited for what the Monster Trio will up to. Im all for Luffy and Sanji vs Kaido....
