The problem is that would put Brook below Franky and Robin in term of potrayal but he already shined a lot in WCI. And he could still fight hotei or whatever after

Chopper and Brook usually face characters on the same level as Franky's opponents, they are not getting together to face a character that is </ = Franky's opponent

Well, Franky will probably have a similar tough fight. So at a bare minimum Franky ~ base Sanji.

I agree, but let's agree that Franky should wake up haki, and let's remember that Franky told Jinbe that he updated his equipment and is much stronger than before

Kaido also praised Jack but still recognized the sulong minks were too strong.

Logically,pre Wb-crew Ace shouldn't be able to be on that level.

Sanji just wanted to test how durable the suit was from the attack. When BMP attacked the Vinsmokes they didnt mention the suit, they mentioned their "steel skin" as the problem for not being able to damage them. The RS does not offer any hardness, only the cape does. When P1 hits Sanji or King perforates him with the beak, Sanji himself takes the full brunt of that.

I agree in parts, the reason Sanji used RS is because he wanted to eliminate Pageone quickly, and he also wanted to hide his identity (that was his statement)

I could see this, maybe Brook goes with Robin to fight Black Maria? Its possible Chopper can handle P1 by himself but Black Maria is above him and Ulti.

Going to be an interesting few weeks with matchups that's for sure

Paper, are you expecting anything good out of this Ace rerun That’s my only qualm. It’s Chapter 998/999 but we’re getting Ace stuff when we could’ve literally got anything else

I don't think the Ace stuff is coming exactly next chapter. Oda tends to tease things a few chapters ahead so my guess is its a tease for the near end of the act and it will covered in Act 4.

Put it this way, I dont think Yamato is going to randomly reminisce about Ace and Oda will break the action flow right now. It'll happen if, lets say, Yamato confronts Kaido over it or brings it up to someone who is relevant. Then we'll see the flashback.

Its why I dont expect any more flashbacks till the beginning of Act 4 because at least by then, the pacing for the action was already broken by the Act closing.


Still actually hopeful for an Act 3 ending next chapter OR Chapter 1000 just has a big surprise/twist for Wano. That i can also see.
