Future Events Zoro vs Mihawk/Shiryu EoS is still needed?

Zoro is meant to overturn several swordsmen before becoming WSS. I would put one between King and Fujitora too into the pot, we will see. The only question is whether or not Shiryu will be his last fight and I sincerely hope not.
Having Mihawk as last barrier would be way more efficient to the very plot regarding Zoro's goal.

Like many have already said, Zoro has downright looked better in some case so it wouldn't even be the first time, especially at Thriller back with the nothing happened scence.
Also how can it be "bad writing" when Oda sets up a whole arc to parrellel Zoro with Oden and Ryuma, with countless hints along the way? How can it be "bad writing" if it has so much foreshadowing going into the final phase of the arc?

Mihawk's greatest ability is his hawkeye vision.
To counter this ability you need to use invisibility which is why Shiryu only wanted this and he steal it from Absalom. Everyone was wondering when he could have logia powers why he took invisibility? It's because to counter only Mihawk's special heightened vision ability.
Also consider this, why now they demolished the Shichibukai? It could wait a little longer, but why now? Why now Shanks went to Gorousei to complain about Blackbeard and why Mihawk lost his title at the same time?
What will be Blackbeard's and Shiryu's biggest accomplishment before the final battle? It can't be just defeating Marco. You need someone bigger. It should be Shanks and Shanks's crew where Mihawk will join.
Mihawk will die against Shiryu, no need to worry about that. You can't expect Blackbeard pirates to do nothing while Strawhats are doing incredible things.

If Zoro kills/beheaded Kaido in this arc, does Zoro vs Mihawk/Shiryu is still needed?

For Zoro to Kill Kaidou, Luffy needs to perform a feat even better than that in Wano. In that scenario, same question could be asked about Luffy.
All his fights bar Im Sama will loose hype if he outdo something like even Killing Kaidou. Hence it can't happen. Luffy will beat Kaidou with lot help, ass plot reasons.
Anyway Yes if Zoro really manage to kill Kaidou, No will be hyped for Zoro vs Shiryu. Fans already wants more from Zoro than just beating King at this stage when he barely beaten anyone at YC tier. How will they be content with Shiryuu who then will feel like Pica 2.0?
Shiryuu is one of the major fights of Zoro, it needs to be more than just relying on Invisibility to be a challenge for Zoro. It will be awesome if this is just one factor of the battle and his swordmanship/ other skills also pose a good threat to Zoro.
If Zoro Kills Kaidou Oda needs to hype Shiryuu to another lvl/solid Top Tier. I won't say that's impossible but probably is redundant as SHs are also likely to face Admirals.
You guys having such big expectations, i am still on Z n S taking help to beat King n Queen solo in the end, lmao.
