This thread is here to disprove the notion that Akainu wasn't hurt by Marco and Vista's attacks (which is such a small thing homie), but also to prove that yes, if you cut the arm off a logia, they can regenerate their arm.
So let's make this quick.
Akainu groaned, was pushed back, had shake lines, gritted his teeth, and complained about them being haki users, but people pretend he was unharmed by the sheer motion that he wasn't outright dead or maimed for life from two unnamed marco and vista attacks.
They use that to say that his haki overpowered theirs, or whatever. They often remark that there was no blood from his mouth (which wouldn't make sense, since neither attacked his head anyway)
But the same people ignore one major thing:
JOZU LITERALLY BROKE AOKIJI TO PIECES, and yes, he did use haki:
By the metric of "you can't regenerate your body if you're hurt by a haki attack actually", aokiji would be dead, he was crushed into 30 pieces with an attack that objectively hurt him (he bled from his mouth), it was a clear haki attack.
So when Akainu showed all those signs of damage, he was hurt, but he was able to stop himself from being outright maimed like non logia users would be, because he was a logia. The physical damage to him was still done, he was hurt, his body was damaged, but he didn't have giant cuts in him that killed him from vista and marco's unnamed attacks.
And before you bring up Crocodile, we don't know Crocodiles true story tbh, he could have lost that hand before he became a logia (thus his hand wouldn't be reflected with his logia), he could purposefully have a hook hand because his it's a weapon, and he can actually reform his hand, or any other sort of explanation.
But Akainu was objectively hurt, it wasn't life ending damage, and he wasn't outright maimed, but he was hurt. Akainu took 10 days to defeat aokiji, so clearly two unnamed attacks weren't going to outright kill anyone on marco/admiral level (outside of hax), but let's stop using the shitty "marco and vista couldnt' even hurt akainu" argument, he ws hurt, it just didn't kill or maim him for life, and his logia allows him to reform after being broken/cut into, even by haki users.
Here's the quote from rayleigh explaining it's relation to Logia users:
We know that haki users don't make logia lose their intangibility/devil fruits forever, just for that moment, it allows you to DAMAGE the logia user, not completely ruin their logia. So once he is cut into, he returns back to the logia that he is, suffering the damage, but reforming now that the haki attack is done. Oda even used Akainu as an example for this.
So yeah, if say Whitebeard cut Akainu in half with his glaive or whatever he wields, and it's a haki attack, Akainu can reform from it, but he would be hurt still from the attack and probably be close to defeat tbh, but he'd be full in form and would be able to be back to new after some proper rest and stuff.
Let's stop using this bullshit debate, I'm tired of disproving it, everyone else is tired of disproving it, and it's just a vastly outrageous claim to shill for admirals. Even when you admit I'm right, what will that even mean? That akainu doesn't die from unnamed attacks from marco and vista instantly? We kind of know that even without everything, just like how marco didn't instantly die to kizaru lasers, so it's not even like you're giving much ground. The 5th strongest pirate in the world (marco), and the 12th or so strongest pirate in the world (Vista), can hurt Akainu with haki attacks.
