Well seeing that the real battle is about to start for real (straw hats getting paired against topi roppo, Luffy about to reach the roof where Kaido and BIg Mom are) I can see Wano ending in 2021 especially if Oda keeps off screening the fights or at least trim them. It's mainly depend on what we believe is happening with the raid. If they succeed around 40 chapters hould be enough to finish Wano, if they fail and Oda needs to build another battle up we're there for way longer

-getting back to a ~39 chapter year without COVID getting in the way
-the first fight with a Flying Six concludes in the next ten chapters

If Oda does what he’s done in Alabasta, EL and Dressrosa- the arcs most like Wano in structure- then the final fighting part of the arc will take ~30 odd chapters to finish.

The five TR will get either a one or two chapters purely devoted to their fight. (5 or ten chapters)
Then the Calamities will get two chapters. (6 chapters)
Then Kaido will get about ten chapters once everyone else is down

- Confirms Wano is ending next year and we're going to Shanks events

- Or Oda is trolling and we will get Shanks in-between the acts for 3-4 chapters as Interludes and he calls that "Shanks' move"


I'm leaning towards the second cause there's 2 acts left but it will be wild if Oda end Wano at Act 3

The thing is the final matchups are already starting to shape and there nothing left of the arc after Kaido is done
Probably just some Wano politics
So I think it will finish in about 9-10 months
Then shanks gonna appear to meet Luffy in his way out the island

That's not occurring since Mihawk declared Shanks unworthy of a match due the loss of his limb so there's no reason for now to believe the two of them would clash.
