Judging from the last panel, it looks like Luffy made it to Kaido at least, so either Kid/Killer is taking on Jack or Jack may encounter Yamato or something later. No warmup fight for Luffy (which is good).

Unless somehow it's a magical one shot in the chapter, which is possible.
