I don't expect Will of D to be revealed right now, I think it is something related to joyboy which would make sense when the truth is known.

I don't get how people expected outisde events or a flashback considering how the last chapter ended. No end of act, no flashback lead-in and with Oda still trying to get everyone to the roof.
I definitely think the chapter will be hype and memorable but not mind blowing and at most we could get another D hint.

Technically, unless Kaidou´s weapon is really made out of seastone, Luffy should not have a chance against Kaidou even with the training.
Him being able to hurt Kaidou now is not equal to him himself taking hits better.

I just can see it being pretty brutal of a fight. They are the same age and should have grown up together. Might be interesting

Though I still expect, BM to be one who would help defeat Kaido. Even in last chapter Oda made her ask Kaido about him dropping the island and said many people will die if he did that. And he said my life my rules. Her asking that could be a hint at she could be the one who will help save people from the damage done by the island. And the people of wano whom she had connection as Olin could play a role in this.

Marineford´s biggest weakness, as you rightfully said, is the necessity of having Luffy in questionable situations in which he should not survive, two worst being 3 Admirals and platform with Sengoku.

It´s still nothign to the utter fuckery of shinobi war that reduced every character besides Nasuke to a joke, betrayed the themes of the entire manga and had the worst cop out villain reveal i have ever read.

No it´s not the same level or worse, and claiming so is not speaking for you.

In shinobi war naruto was already surpissed kage level while Luffy was fodder nut he alone was changes all war when wb had recieved a rape (he lost his boat, his ally...).
