Tbh, I do wonder of the marines would defect before the final war. Sword could primarily be a set up to just show how the marines could improve, but not exactly show how they are meant to fight in the EoS.

I can see Fujitora still fighting Zoro, even though he is good. He might even want Zoro to win in a way.

I agree Kidd shouldn't be stronger than Zoro. Tbh OP, at least according to me, has not been very consistent in terms of power scaling so you never know.

That’s your opinion and a terrible one at that. You can gain experience and crazy haki blooms in the heat of battle. It’s a failure of a manga if Luffy has no rivals and he’s the chosen one who can’t be competed with....

Oda actually has plans for him and to make him weaker than Zoro is a shame. Who’s to say Kidd wasn’t trained by someone on Mihawks level? We know 0 about the guy.

There is a fun theory going around that has to do with the Strawhats only having 11 crewmates and it matching well with the 11 "Zodiac" admirals (if the exist), Blackbeard, potentially Shank's crew, as well as potentially Im.

I'll start with the obvious. If Yamato joins, that would make 11 for Luffy.

- Blackbeard has 10 captains (1 unknown) and also himself

- Shanks has currently 10 main members, counting Rockstar. If Mihawk is meant to ally with Shanks for the EoS and fight Luffy, that's 11 members

- Each Admiral codename is based off the Chinese Zodiac so far. Akainu (dog), Aokiji (pheasant), Kizaru (monkey), Fujitora (tiger), Ryokugyu (bull), Chaton(pig), Momousagi (rabbit), leaving Horse, Snake, Dragon, Rat and Goat i believe. Aokiji is gone basically, and if he's not replaced, it leaves 11 Zodiac admirals. 7 of them would be VA's.

- Last one is a stretch, but Im, the Gorosei and Kong make 7 people that run the WG. One theory I've heard is that there are 4 WG operatives who command/run each of the blue's, while Kong mainly commands WG forces in Grandline/New World. We know there are unknown WG members, as Doflamingo talked to one at Marineford. Oda hid this persons face on purpose.

Just some fun things to think about. I do think many of these fights will be straight forward when the crew is complete.

It would be really cool even if Sanji fought Kizaru, too, not bad. But there is a possibility that Zoro will fight Shiryu in the final. Yet Oda hinted that there will be the biggest war after Wano, in which there will be Shanks, Revolutionaries, Teach, Marine and so on. Yes, and Shiryu with his DF ~ Admiral. It would be great if Shiryu could kill 1 Admiral solo and then meet Zoro. No, the battle with the Admiral is for Zoro TOP, but it's just unlikely that Zoro will be able to kick the ass of 2 strong people in this war. Shiryu with his DF is more dangerous than any Admiral. IMHO
