Tbh, Luffy throwing that punch signifies to me that most of these fights may play off as 1v1's. Kid and Luffy strike me as the 2 pirates that will fundamentally take down the two Yonko. Luffy is now proving they his punches seemingly hurt Kaido (Kaido's teeth literally cracking here), and Kid likely to be there with him as he IS written as Luffy's rival.

Tbh, I totally see Law, Killer and Zoro all eventually exiting these fights to take on other viable threats, especially if the BMP finally show up (King, Smoothie, Jack, Snack, etc)

You underestimate law too much...law is also luffys rival so calm down...laws main fight is still the yonko

I feel like we could expect something very decent from him as long as Oda won't waste GK and as long as Law will be showing to have improved his teleporting skills as well as learnt at least one new attack, not necessarily finisher.

Law is is Luffys henchman :josad:

JK, but still Laws portrayal as Luffys rival is pretty much gone at this point. But who knows thereโ€™s a chance the rivalry could be reignited if Law decides to betray Luffy or he reveals some ulterior motive.

Hope you guys know kaido hasn't used hardening...just his own skin durability :myman:

He's more like whitebeard....calm and not hot headed

I have to say though that Oda did an horrible job at hyping up that "new generation of pirates that would come in 20 years" throughout the timeskip and Wano.

Are we supposed to now believe that Kid and Law are any better than the Scabbards? Feats wise neither of them is close to the Dukes in Sulong form, Law was destroyed by Doflamingo (who held back on his awakening) Kid couldn't beat a Sweet Commander, Killer got oneshotted by Zoro.

A team of Marco/King/Queen/Jinbe/Yamato would hardly feel any weaker than these 5, hell I'd say It's stronger from top to bottom
So Law no-diffing Kinemon a guy who matched Sulong Inuarashi's strongest attack, is not "close to Dukes" in feats? You just suck at power scaling.

None of these guys are on Law's level, not the Scabbards, not the Calamities, let alone Doflamingo's level, who Kin was shitting his pants towards.

Okay after sleeping on it i gotta say... Beast Pirates will be made a bigger joke than BM pirates

You basically have Marco manhabdling 2 yonko commanders with ease while Luffy casually walks pass 2 Yonkos and neither notices it and on top of that Luffy knocks one down with ease.

We are about to see some major powerscalling debacle going on and i for one cant wait

Bcs you damn well know people that are power hungry about power levels will go insane and shit will be thrown all around.

So sit back, take a drink and enjoy whats gonna happen

I really liked the Chapter.. Luffy murdered this chapter 1000 with his class :steef:

Ace unconsciously wants to drink with the one he hated since a kid was ironic.
Am glad Yamato gave Oden's Longbook to Momo, hope his father's adventures will inspire him to be a great and powerful Shogun.
Marco successfully sent Zoro to the roof.. But i still think he will pay the price.. It's the only way to redeem King and Queen as relevant threats for the arc because aside for Rank and responsibilities they haven't showcase anything superior to F6.. I still see King and Queen climb to the roof after they dealt with Marco.. Plus Jack recovery.. I feel like fights against Big shots will occurred on the rooftop

About Queen i loved is tech body lolz i just have a wild thought about it.. What if he has every Judge's sons stuff.. Because he is able to extend his neck like Yonji would, he has poison like Reiju...:funky:

The Yonkous vs Supernova double spread was dope, i personally liked how Cool Law was. I can't wait to see supernovas feats.. I hardly see another character except for Yamato do something to Yonkous other than these 5...
Luffy was absolutely badass in this chapter.. Ignoring Yonkous .. Made Kaido start to regret why he was provoking him and made Big Mom start to regret why she came to Wano:okay::myman:

Of course Marco isn't gonna be holding King and Queen for long. Only advantage he has over them is his regeneration flames that lets him tank as many attacks as possible until he reaches his limit. :kayneshrug:
How is his limit working though
I feel Marco's limit is NOT that there is a certain amount of attacks then it stops.... rather I feel his fruit has limits in the sense that if the attack is STRONG ENOUGH to knock him out from one single blow... that's when his fruit will not be effective... because he will be unconscious to activate his fruit regeneration

Especially since Oda never clarified how his DF limits works... he just said that "yeah it can regenerate anything, but there are limits to his fruit"
how is that limitation working? unclarified

Let's remember that logically, regeneration and healing you from all your wounds SHOULD also restore your stamina BY LOGIC.... because you are 100% healthy again... so it's like you never run out of stamina with this fruit

Which is why I feel that its limitation is basically having a Yonko level destructive move that completely oneshots Marco and knocks him out faster than allowing him to regenerate.. which is how I feel Blackbeard won... He stopped his fruit from working by touching him with yami fruit, and with Tremor he gave him a davastating BIG attack that knocked him out completely

Anyway, that's how I see Marco's fruit working... and at same time, I do not see ANY YC pulling a one attack on Marco.... UNLESS he was trapped and they used some scientific weapon and shit like that

He was shown with bandages after Marineford.
He never received any attack bigger than Kizaruยดs attack in the beginning.

hmmm... I guess you have a point... but let's see.. Oda can basically be like "shit I did a mistake there with bandages" LOL

Honestly, I'm not even sure why someoe like Sengoku had bandages when he never received a SINGLE PUNCH in Marineford... not a single PUNCH... and there were bandages all over his body LOL... so it could be just for Oda to sell the idea of "it was fearsome war" and didn't pay attention to the "Marco's fruit won't allow it" as he still will focus on Marco waaay later in series...
But yeah, you have a point here

Finally we reached chapter 1000 and I must congratulate Oda,because that isn't an easy task for any mangaka.

Nice that we see Shishilian again and Inuarashi's Musketeer Squad,he is my favourite mink along Neko,so far.Love the tears at end when Luffy went past him.

Not fan how Oda is treating King and Queen in this chapter at all, even if it's temporary.Hope that Oda will step it up when it comes to two calamities.

Finally the big battle is about to start between two yonkou's and the SNs(I expect even more of them to come later) and the panel of all of them facing each other is not the best, but it's solid.I must say that Law stole the show by just casually sitting and not giving a fuck.Of all SN that are currently facing the yonkou's I am most curiously following Killer, who is mostly seen as weak link by the fans of all of the SNs that are on the roof.I expect that he will have one of the better haki's of all SNs given that he just like Zoro only uses weapons and no fancy DF(if we don't count his smile DF :vistalaugh:).

Luffy in this chapter really brought me back to my childhood which is a good thing,he reminded me lot of Goku on Namek.
