Robin knew some tidbits here and there. I don't remember her knowing anything major.

On contrary to what we are to assume there is inside the log ,based on the recent chapter.
Robin knows about the entire world, she never mentions anything, whether it´s the big players, their constellation and so forth.
She knew about Poseidon since Skypeia, became only useful in Fishman Island, and still has not told the crew anything about it.
She has already gathered a few Ponegylphs herself, never mentioned them in the story.
Never mentioned anything about D to the crew, and the list goes on.

We can assume the diary includes the stuff we have seen and was hinted at without stating it.
But the flashback never hinted at what One Piece is, or who Joy Boy is, or what the Ancient Kingdom is and so forth.

Zoro is hard alright

The only thing that worries me is that Big Mom seems loyal, at the moment.
She's obviously waiting for the Red PG and until then she's on Kaido's side.
With the right and anticipated power-up, after Kaido is already damaged (little), 5vs1 could take him down without a logic scandal, but what about the old hag?

Someone must stall Linlin or something big that makes her choose to leave over remain with risk, must happen.
I would love to see old Sengoku and Garp join forces against her, the duo alone without the marines (I think Sakazuki has some defect, he's good in the battlefield, in strength and tactics, but in the mid-long term he's not a strategist and I think he'll do some mistakes like not targeting Wano and the new Gen pirates with the same fury seen against the WB pirates).
I would love to see a Big Mom betrayal and retreat saved by her children, after fatally injuring the two grandpas of the two D pirates here (Luffy's and Law's, in some ways).

Anyway, no way those 5 can bring down two Yonkou, even with Ryu (just see the Scabbards)

She really warmed up to me in the past couple of chapters. I've gone from thinking Yamato will probably join the crew (but mainly feeling ambivalent about that possibility) to actively wanting her to join the crew. I'm very excited for her character arc and cautiously optimistic that Oda will do her justice.
Hell yeah, Cinpai!! I think a lot of folks in the fandom aren’t on board with her not because the character itself is shitty, but the way Oda has handled her introduction and flashback in such a short amount of time is vastly different from (and much faster than) any other future SHP we’ve met in the past.

I really do understand where they’re coming from; we didn’t meet Yamato until super late in an already oddly-paced arc, and it feels like a lot about what we know of her has been thrown together at the last minute. What I think people don’t take into account is that a) there really never has been a consistent process of recruitment for ANYONE who has joined, b) Oda is, in MANY ways, not the same author he used to be, and c) the only thing constant in life is change, so even if the first two weren’t true, there’s literally nothing stopping the guy drawing this series from completely altering his usual methods so he can warm the audience up to a new character before we follow her tale to the end of the story.

Could Yamato’s introduction and the early stages of her character being fleshed out have gone better? Yeah, sure...but you could say the same thing about the entire Wano arc, and probably most of the ones that came between the timeskip and where we are today. There will always, ALWAYS be naysayers no matter what decisions are made in the narrative, and for good reason - art is subjective, an intensely personal experience even for those who don’t believe in it. That’s the reason why people still hold onto the hope that Carrot will join despite diminishingly minimal evidence that she carries any significance to the overall plot. It’s not a matter of right or wrong, smart choices or bad ones; it’s a matter of what will and will not come to pass, that’s all.

By the way, did anyone notice how that second to last panel of Luffy was drawn? The one where he’s entirely in shadow? To me, it resembles when Shanks is reaching up and getting ready to give Luffy his hat in the first chapter. And with the captain’s coat, he looks just like Shanks too. His bet is coming to fruition.
Yeah someone posted it at least 3 times yesterday.

You’re overthinking it. That’s the same dark shading oda used before zoro sliced apoo. It’s just oda showing the two most powerful Wg members on the island in cool settings
The thing is, is this chapter we had all that build up of "Luffy said the same thing Roger said" and the Wano arc is supposed to be somewhat of a callback to God Valley, where both Big Mom and Kaido were present. There is also all that build up of the new Generation showing up to take down Kaido.

Many characters have already stated that Luffy reminds them of Roger. I can definitely see Roger showing up on God Valley and announcing to Xebec that he will surpass him, and become the Pirate King. That's also the same incident that marked the beginning of Roger's Era. This is much more than just a silhouette to look cool.

Yep I ve notice this detail :)
I find also very interesting that Oda decided to show Zoro reaction and not the other SN. He is not talking but as a manga reader you can see that Zoro is fuking ready for some action.

Luffy is the MVP and always ll be but Zoro is really close in this arc to have a fuking big role.

My wish is that we ll see a very dynamic fight, with some low and high but what i want the most is a duo combination between Zoro&Luffy vs Kaido attack!! I believe Kaido&Big Mom ll display different level during the fight like Stampede with Bullet.

To conclude I d like to see a CoC clash too, hopefully Zoro ll have it too :steef:

remind us what happened to all that talk kidd was doing beforehand? yeah thats right it got him being the punching bag of the new world and getting his ass dipped in a fish tank. no one payed attention to all his shit talk. He’s a fodder a bonafide loser who’s going to get knocked out for the second time. zoro has never been this fixed on an opponent besides mihawk. the difference in conviction and concentration between zoro,Kidd and killer is plain as day. Ones fixed the other 2 have their head in the clouds.
This isn't Zoro slander but I think this isn't a fair comparison.

Kid fought and lost against 2 Yonkos and obviously Zoro would too if he goes against Shanks or Kaido. Agreed Kid didn't defeat Cracker but I think it is more nuanced than that. He says that he got what he wanted when asked about that and having fought against Shanks in the past, I think Kid would've learned a thing or two about facing a Yonko so I guess he decided to get out the moment he got what he wanted.

We still haven't seen Zoro fight against a Yonko Commander so yeah there's that too.

ZORO'S GONNA SLASH KAIDO IN THE NEXT CHAPTER IT'S CONFIRMED !!!

Not a single combatant in Onigashima is weaker than Arlong.

Luffy is finally a Great Pirate. Matching and threatening the other Emperors themselves.

Kaido and Big Mom have just realized who he is.
Shanks and Whitebeard already knew who he will be.
Finally, Blackbeard is waiting for him in the future.

The darkened Silhouette may indicate us entering a Flashback. Could be a Shanks/Luffy interaction. Or straight into God Valley with Kaido and Big Mom remembering Roger/Strawhat.

A final moment that stood out was Kid. In the overwhelming presence of Two Emperors Kid is joking/arrogant. I don’t doubt that Kid will do momentous things in this battle, but this contrasts with the other Supernova. Killer was always aware and understanding of the situation. But Luffy/Kids parallel shows that Kid is still not taking this seriously.
