It just would make no sense why Oda portrays Luffy so weak when he is the future pirate king and many of the enemies(Caeser Clown, Hody, Cracker etc.) he faces should be easily doable by him... a good example for that bad portrayal is the Apoo attack or getting one shotted by Kaido just to show his strength and then have Zoro kill or wound Kaido is just sad. Oda please stop with these Luffy team fights, let the man do his fights alone without any bullshit, like the Lucci fight which is praised as the best fight. Maybe its just Odas style to draw out Luffys fights so much. I would have no problem with Zoro wounding Kaido, if there was enough groundwork(strength wise) laid out by oda...how can he waste a decade without any good Zoro fights and splitting the crew was an even worse decision. I rly don't like the whole situation.

They undertook similarly good TS trainings

Luffy learned FS and advanced CoA, Zoro caught up with his Enma training which was an actual legit solid training unlike Udon's

I don't think Luffy is that much stronger than Zoro. I just have never gotten the vibe that he was ever stronger than Luffy.
Lemme put it like this, If Luffy was a 100, Zoro would be a 90 - 95 and Sanji would be 75 - 80, Nami 30 e.t.c

OT: Don't know if Zoro deserves to be equal to Luffy but Luffy needs to be stronger than Zoro because he is his captain and the main character of the story.

For writing it makes sense, for Hardcore zoro fans it makes no sense

Zoro was already stronger than Luffy since the time skip. It's only after WCI that Luffy caught up. So it's Oda story he can make Zoro stronger or equal to Luffy as he likes. Though he might not always make it obvious.

Maybe you should learn how to read no where did I mention that Luffy should solo Kaido. I even mentioned that I would have no problems with Zoro wounding Kaido with the right feats.
