He only needs to do enough to make them think "he's really going to do it".

So that's what i expect from Zoro as well. He will manage to open the scar made by Oden and he will make Kaido see Oden's image in him, the way Luffy made them see Roger's image in him.

If this was Zoro's arc, he will be the one carrying the burden of wano people...like how Sanji carries the burden of BMP, Citizens and alliance by making the cake. Like how Law carried Corazoj burden.

He would have had his origins fleshed out like how Law and Sanji had during their arcs.

So no, Wano isn't about Zoro
It's about SN trio beating Kaido just like DR was about SN duo beating Doffy.

For how much the Worst Generation and the Supernova get hyped up on this forum, we should not forget that Kidd was created to be the stand out character of the Supernova group.

I do agree that the SH's are more important, but Kidd should deliver the peak of what one can expect from a Supernova to become in One Piece.

That's part of why i expect him to defeat Big Mom.

For the purpose of Wano's narrative Big Mom is secondary.

Zoro playing the second most significant role among the SH's in Kaido's defeat, matters more for Wano story aspect.

Kidd defeating Big Mom matters more for power levels, and clout to continue to build him up as Luffy's rival for whatever comes next.

Because if we don't think Wano is peak for Kidd's role in the story from a narrative aspect, something should come after and Kidd should be built up in a position where whatever happens with him matters for the story and makes a big impact.

Also, I am not using the act of him lifting rocks as a feat. It’s the fact that Oda drew the scene to show Luffy and Kidd competing. Of course lifting the rocks isn’t supposed to be impressive. You’re supposed to observe how they are matching each other physically and mentally, that is portrayal that an eight year old could understand. Also the Udon competition is not the only way Kidd has been built as a rival. Far from it. Stop acting dumb.

Perhaps Kidd and Killer are responsible for defeating Big Mom, but that is not only far from guaranteed, it's not even a particularly probable outcome given what we know so far.



  • Law had the second most panel time & prominence in DR.
    • Zoro has taken that role in Wano.
  • DR was very much Law's character arc.
    • Wano has taken the role of Zoro's character arc.

Wano is not to Kidd what DR was to Law, the person that takes that role is Zoro.

What are you getting so flustered about ? Even if that's not a thing for that particular panel, it will be a thing by the end of the arc in the sense that he will make them believe that he can achieve what Roger did and become the next Pirate King.

How did law out shine zoro by getting Neg diffed by doffy? Was it law who gave tashigi a inner monologue purely used to suck him off and his monster strength? Oh wait that was zoro . Laws feats are terrible dude only thing he did was cut the mountain in punk hazard . That’s nothing to zoro
