Wrong. Those flames healed everyone. They all thought they was burning, just like Chopper at first, because flames normally burn. Remember, Chopper wants to help everyone. The only people that stayed covered in flames were the people infected.

No, look at the difference in the shading between the flames of the people healed, and that of the Beast Pirates, which uses the exact same shading Oda always uses when fire is damaging someone.

No the fire still hits them.
They are saying it burns (even though it doesnt cause marcos flames arent hot) because they are on fire and they think thats what it does just like when marco used it on chopper. Marcos flames when healing physical injuries vanish instantly as seen when we see him heal people when neko meets him

One piece always have gag moments in serious fights. Go reread the manga bro. Oda is great because he can mix both together.

G Oback and look at the picture you posted and a picture I posted. Chopper has both light and dark shading. You looking too much into it.
