How can they be getting burned by marcos fire when oda fucking confirmed marcos fire doesnt burn people.
And yet, the shading between those being healed and those are not, is completely different. He also said he would further touch on the matter later in the story. But if you guys really think Marco is out there healing the enemy while in a middle of a war... :whitepress:

There was next to no tension to begin, they litteraly walked all the way to the top as if they had a morning stroll.
Its only a problem if they get their asses beat. If they win relatively easliy obviously there won't be any tension.

I guess what I'm saying if Yonko are weak for them, why would there be any tension.

what if they lose this round
Then I’ll take back what I said, but if they straight up win then this arc was the most underwhelming arc of the NW imo.

If this is a scabbards 2.0 situation where they get to show off before they get laid out and then act 3 ends then fine but rn it’s looking to be the opposite.

This fight starting like this isn’t a good sign to me.

beast pirates confirm marco healed them

One piece always have gag moments in serious fights. Go reread the manga bro. Oda is great because he can mix both together.
I know that one piece always had gag moments in serious fights but the lead up to those fights was serious and or intense. This arc lacked that, so the gags are even more jarring.

Like there was no intense struggle to get to the top at all, bar fighting some fodder.

This terminally ill individual known as Gol D. Roger, later called King of Pirates and Gold Roger, did absolutely nothing except for the following action(s): he proceeded to loosen his jaw and tilt his head backwards at a rate of 15 degrees per second whilst slowly closing his eyes, and as this proceeded, his mouth opened wider before bellowing out a rhythmical noise, where with each contraction of the diaphragm, visibly noticeable due to the consistent rise and fall of his chest on the axis tangent to the surface of the earth on which he stood and so exaggerated due to the joyous and hearty nature of his demeanor, an audible "HAHA" was released that contorted air into non-visible perturbations known as waves that travelled at remarkable speeds of 760 mph to the ears of those in close proximity, all as a reaction to the presumably visual stimuli he encountered at the island, then unnamed with unknown coordinates but later dubbed "Laugh Tale" by the man in question, wherein the legendary treasured placed by Joy Boy and known as the One Piece lied in wait.

I feel people who say this isn't a big deal don't understand Zoro's character or think too much in battleboard mindset

Zoro wanted to Cut Fire not because of Powerlevels, but because it's cool and Zoro is as much of a Sword nerd as Tashigi is

If you are truly a Zoro fan you would realise why this is a badass moment and not shrug it off because "if Fodder like Kinemon can do it It's not really impressive"

yeah I somewhat agree
I think oda needs to make the supernovas lose initially to emphasis how strong the yonko are and how dire the situation is

Fodders can do alot of impressive things. Bart has a OP barrier. Raizo has op scroll, boa sisters had a Ryou etc.... Fodders having it doesn't mean its not impressive

Zoro doing it is cool. Making him do it the first time against Big Mom's homie is an odd choice.

All this build up leading to the Wano arc, country of Samurai under a fire breathing "Dragon" ruler, with a Fire themed swordsman strongest subordinate, and it's going to be showcased against fireballs thrown by Prometheus ? :specialmeh:

Except the culminating antagonist of multiple arcs should be something serious. Not this gag shit we get.

What are you even saying anyways?
What should or should not be. You should check with Oda on that,

All I'm saying is What if SN are already too strong for the 2 Yonko. I'm not saying they are I'm just saying what if. Then Why would there be any tension if you know you are going to beat your enemy confidently.
