To be fair kim had so many headcanons debunked this chapter that he took an L. Zoro of course was pretty awesome this chapter but some of his fanbase and their headcanon indeed took some L's but not Zoro.

No he wasn’t. Luffy had weeks to get stronger and we see a panel with him seeing the attack before Kaido gets up

Luffy has bypassed Kaido's dragon scales(his defense) and Kaido has extremely fast attacks which cannot be dodged fully even with FS(Luffy's defense)....

Seems like Luffy vs Kaido may depend on the guy with higher durability and Attack Power among both. Kaido is clearly ahead of Luffy in both of the factors I have mentioned. I'm really excited to see the way Luffy overcomes this extreme challenge!!

Luffy is not in snakeman which his dodging form. Luffy's defense is Tankman enhanced with Ryuo.
Before Ryuo it NEGATED cracker's attack completely where boundman could not, now it should be stronger defense than anything we've seen.

The others were expected to be a comparison to Luffy but Rocks was a little surprising.

The dude was a real demon, he wasn't able of captaining Whitebeard, Shiki, Linlin, Kaido and all these monsters and to force Roger and Garp to team up for nothing.
