Perhaps you can explain how Pre-TS Blackbeard when was rookie to Gura DF, created the same Gura powers in MF with his punches? MF Whitebeard was so weak that his attacks weren't even stronger than Pre-TS Blackbeard's Gura attacks.

Pre-TS Blackbeard even wounded Fleet Admiral with his new Gura powers, Sengoku was covered in bandages. And that's not even Yonko Blackbeard.

Luffy could use CoC even after losing to Kaido's Thunder Bagua, but Whitebeard in MF couldn't even use regular CoC. That should tell you something about Whitebeard's extremely weakened situation in MF. MF Whitebeard was no where near close to Yonko level.

It's not semantics. You say Shanks can have abilities outside of swordsmanship, something that was never a factor according to Zoro's battles themselves. Fire, spinning tops, Foot knives, unicycles, kicking the air, zoan fruits, poison, hardening your body like iron, gravity, teleportation, cloud dials..none of them mattered to Zoro himself and the guys who used them were still swordsman. How come it matters when Shanks comes into play?

How is a swordsman stronger than the strongest swordsman? Did Zoro win his battles with skill alone? Can you explain Ryuma vs Brooke and Zoro? There's so much....

Bro, because we literally know NOTHING about Shanks! The manga has yet to ever specify, outside of their rivalry, if either party won. That means anything beyond that is an assumption.

Isn't it better to assume there is more going on with Shanks, than to blindly assume he lost over a technicality based on statement made about Mihawk nearly 950 chapters ago?

Mihawk having a title does no indicate Shanks has lost to Mihawk until we have a clear understanding of Shanks as a person, skillset and mindset. Again, no point in arguing this. Im not saying you are wrong, but im definitely not saying you are right either, because there is no certifiable proof of either case.

Funny enough. The one thing we do know about Shanks is that he has fought some of the strongest people in the manga, while Mihawk only seems to have directly clashed with Shanks in rivalry matches. Take what you will from that, but is clear Oda himself has placed Shanks in a place where Mihawk isn't in terms of displaying his presence in front of other major characters. Mihawk has never had this benefit, that IS a proven fact.

If this panel is about Kaido seeing people who can beat him behind Luffy it only adds to Mihawk since he clashed with Shanks many times and even WB praised their duels.
