Since Oda mentioned that Shanks is also making his move this year while he only talked about the reverie and warlord stuff last year my guess would be that Wano is ending this year.
Or at least the battles will be over by the end of the year.

now i wanted to power scale that attack seemed to be a prelude no haki used but was able to cause superficial damage to kaidos neck and since enma draws out more haki from its user im expecting zoro to step up his game also wufffy

God Big Mom feels completely unnecessary in this fight. She has no real purpose for being here. Despite that, this chapter is awesome. Those last couple double spreads are some of my favorite pages of this entire arc.

Oda is an absolute garbage writer:

• How is the reader supposed to know if Luffy is using ryou?
  Somehow G3 Red Roc did more damage than G4. Is it because he used ryou with red roc?
  If yes, then why the fuck he isn't using ryou in G4?
  If no, then why the fuck it did less damage than red roc?
• Kid officially has the lamest fruit in the verse.
  Somehow different looking metal is supposed to make his attacks stronger? What's the logic behind that?
  Why waste time making a skull for your "robot" shit when you can add that extra metal to your arms?
• Law says he will destroy Kaido from within yet he throws rocks at him....
• And of course, Oda makes Kaido go into his most useless form, A fucking GAIN.
  It didn't work against the scabbards, why the fuck is supposed to be any different now?
  
  It's like this author thinks his readers are brain dead retards. Repeating same shit over and over again, making them believe it's new.

Well I really believe Oda made Kaido return to Dragon form for plot reasons. It wouldn't make sense for the alliance to compete that much against two Yonkou, specially with lightning fast Kaido. Being on his Dragon form he is easier to hit while some of his attacks are also nullified by Zoro and Luffy, so if we cut back to the other battles it would be more believable that the 5 SN would still be fighting two Yonkous.

Unless its just act 3. We have to remember the rest of the battles aren't even set up yet, nor have any of them actually started.

That's the thing, Act 3 was already advertised to be nearly over when chapter 994 came out. He was supposed to end it last year already to give us updates on Vivi, Sabo and Hancock.

We should be getting an Act 4 with all the battles, I dont expect Act 3 to last much longer, maybe potentially until Onigashima crashes or lands, because then the setting changes.

Act 3 definitely is coming to an end soon. None of the calamities have matchups. Only 2 of the 5 F6 have fully set up fights. Yamato is still alone with Momo and has an unnamed/unshown devil fruit, maybe she encounters Jack. Brook/Robin are heading somewhere, likely to alleviate Sanji of Black Maria while he fights Queen or something. We have no idea if Chopper/Nami/Usopp will face P1/Ulti or what Drake might do.

Either Marco vs King happens or things on the rooftop change within the next 10 chapters or so. Who knows if the BMP show up at Wano when they land.


So many possibilities and the arc isn't even remotely over. Act 4 definitely is coming
