Kanki basically had nothing left to show post Kochou and post Gian. Hara exhausted every cool tactic and strategy he was going to be able to give a guerilla warfare commander.
Not only that, Kanki’s character arc was about Hara taking a character you thought was a despicable villain, and instead slowly revealing that Kanki and his clan were originally weak and helpless.
