Speed was never consistent in mangas, even less so in One Piece. Haku was said to move at lightspeed between his mirrors according to the Databook and Sasuke could react the moment he activated his two tomoe Sharingan. The fact Usopp could dodge lightning and pre TS Zoro could even dodge a light beam from close range isn't testament to the speed of fodder characters in One Piece but the speed inconsistency in One Piece. We had Whitebeard having a monologue while Kizaru shot his lasers from mid range, commenting on how "bright" it is, when in fact that light would've circled the earth seven times before Whitebeard would've started speaking. Meanwhile in Naruto, lightningspeed is indeed lightning speed.
Loki as of now:
- shits on the levels of the entire Monster Trio's haki (even though they're small anyway)
- shits on Nami and her "electric powers"
- there's a big chance that Luffy wouldn't be able to handle him,
- rest of the crew would probably die after his Haki blast.
- i may be wrong but it seems to me that he is the only character so far who was able to use any kind of power apart from the sea stone.
Aside from that, he has some kind of forbidden devil fruit, and also strange eyes which are probably not just decoration.
His addition would completely kill the point, and meaning of any character development in Luffy's crew.

Just war arc in general. Other than CT and C0 and maybe Kirin was there even a single feat beyond town level?
Then we suddenly got Madara’s perfect susanoo cutting mountains and Bijuudamas and Juubidamas, and Shinsusenju and then we got Juubidara and Naruto out speeding light and Toneri cutting the moon in half and ETSB all in the space of like 2 years. Insane.

Same reason Roger, Garp and WB can be hurt by fodder but Kaido and Meme can’t.
