Except of course they didn’t know Teach was Rocks son which is a major oversight on their part. Also there’s no way Newgate didn’t know who Teach was surely? In the case that he did it’d make his words to Teach about him not being the man Roger is waiting for even more interesting. Also would be nice if we get WB’s perspective on how he viewed both Rocks & Roger. From Loki’s FB he was already following Rocks when Loki was a teen. Who did he respect more? Why a man like him decided to follow Rocks, how he came to respect Roger etc.

Tried going over the timeline on the Wiki to see if maybe there is any clue to who that admiral could be or if anything else fits but doesn't seem like anything works.

Only thing that adds in is how apparently Tsuru, Garp and Sengoku joined the Marines 56 years ago but thats only Vivre Card as well. Could argue maybe one joined because of what happened but that seems like a shot in the dark too.

Don't waste your time on this, Oda didn't introduce them previously, didn't plan to, and just like with Fujitora and Greenbull he pooled them out of his ass whenever he had to.

What makes this so different is

1)Xebec killed an admiral before his prime and right in the heart of the WG - MJ.

2) This led to WB, BM and Kaido - 3 yonkous candidates to became his followers which means Rocks pirates were formed after this incident.

3) Garp and Roger tag team to defeat him


And, this hype comes right after Gaban talking about next level of CoC


This is oda telling us - Xebec was some next level monster - in a different tier than the rest.

That's why one piece is not a logical story, you ether have to accept random unexplainable stuff, or constantly come up with your own explanation because the author is too busy counting his millions to pay attention to his writing quality.

I do feel WG came to know about Teach's bloodline but after he became a yonkou.

We have elder talking about it.

Perhaps Teach laying low and then allying with WG until he got his hands on Gura really outplayed WG

Shanks vs BB won't happen in front of Luffy.

All I see is Luffy uniting with Shanks after the defeat - perhaps when he's near his end.


BB was responsible for Ace being sentenced....Shanks death will spiral Luffy's real anger against Blackbeard as if there is any character Luffy cares about the most then it's Shanks.....

Shanks isnt Ace and this isnt a gangbang. If you want to justify Blackbeard vs Shanks and it not being offscreened, then Luffy needs to be in the arc they are tied to. This is arc framing 101, Oda doesnt draw more than a few chapters for fights without Luffy, and Shanks has an entire crew lol

And, luffy being present watching Shanks vs BB makes least sense. He could be in the arc but not present to witness the fight until we see BB defeats shanks.

We didn't know the context how it happened.

On another side I can smell double standard clowns already. Those clowns will 100% believing "Teach will surpass Xebec the Admiral slayer", just like they believe Teach will surpass prime Whitebeard, prime Roger, Imu, etc. Doesn't matter it is wrong or right though.
But the same people will automatically rejecting the idea of Shiryu surpassing Mihawk. Or Shiryu surpassing Oden.
