I do feel WG came to know about Teach's bloodline but after he became a yonkou.

We have elder talking about it.

Perhaps Teach laying low and then allying with WG until he got his hands on Gura really outplayed WG
Most likely ^^. That one panel of Shamrock? visiting the Gorosei was probably to tell the Gorosei about Teach's existence.
Still though I know it most like just plot restrictions but they should've know Teach had some ties to Rocks given how much of an oddity he is :shame:,
- Doesn't sleep
- Weird body constitution
- Able to use more than one DF
etc.
Except of course Teach doesn't share any of those traits with Rocks.

Xebec at least partially agreeing with Harald's Mariejois proposal is interesting, considering he came to seek him out in Elbaf.
Could be that he modified his eventual worldview based on Harald's ideas

They didnt want to be accused of racism

Bro im not talking about a 3 way match lol. Thats entirely pointless now that Shamrock exists in the story.

I 150% believe Teach will fight Shanks when the Yonko and Marines fight over the 4 RPs. While that is happening, be it separate conflicts in the same location or a location close enough to each other, Luffy and his fleet will face Akainu and his Marines. By that time that is over, yes Shanks will probably die and thats how I think we justify a big endgame conflict between Luffy and Blackbeard (Imu notwithstanding because I have no idea whats happening there).

Thats the only way you can justify a legitimate battle with crews. Otherwise, it gets offscreened, which theres no way Oda does for those 2.
I am quite confident oda would make an exception for Shanks and BB - these two are his favourite pirates.

Oda doesn't disappoint when it comes to these two.

Shanks vs BB will happen on -panel - whether luffy is there or not.

Im just saying, what achieves plot movement more? Shanks vs Blackbeard being a wholly separate event or Luffy being able to interact with both Characters before, during and/or after their fight?

I am absolutely not confident in Oda justifying a huge battle without offscreening much of it, especially we arent meant to see how both characters fight yet. That changes if they ARE involved in a major arc with the main cast. Thats how its always worked.

Personally I dont see how you'd want the former anyway lol, it doesnt actually service any story outside of isolating 2 characters already tied to Luffy for different reasons

If the Gorosei figured out that Teach is xebecs son during the timeskip after he stopped being a warlord.......

Well the WBP probably knew. And what character could be hanging out with the WBP in one scene, and be present at Mariejois soon after....

Nami being one of the only ones to meet Blackbeard in Mock Town makes sense.
Nami's parent was the Admiral killed by BB's father.

Luffy, Zoro and Nami meeting BB after Luffy and Zoro copied Shanks has super deep story relevance.

Luffy would definitely meet them.

Bb - after the fight

Shanks - before or after the fight

I just don't see Luffy meeting them during the fight

The more he's preserved, the better will be the payoff when he finally does something.
Bruh, I thought I get warning when a mod quoted me...

"The more he stays afk, the better will be the payoff" - Mihawk fans, pre Marineford arc
Marineford arc:
- Stopped by Jozu
- Dodged by Luffy
- Asking postponement against smiling Vista
- Immediately went home when Shanks appeared

"The more he stays afk, the better will be the payoff" - Mihawk fans before timeskip
Timeskip: becomes Zoro's mentor, greatly reducing chance of him being EoS villain

"The more he stays afk, the better will be the payoff" - Mihawk fans, pre Reverie
Reverie:
- Retreating from fodder Marines
- Becomes Buggy's underling
- Shaking when thinking he has to fight Yonko

"The more he stays afk, the better will be the payoff" - Again, Mihawk fans before the endgame
Endgame:
- Mommy Imu's son
- Mommy gave black blade to his little son
- Taken out by Shiryu as Teach take his mommy out.
