The NW is completely divided into yonko territories. Mihawk traveled freely between those for years. Shown to us very very early by Oda. Also, he travels in a nutshell. An unmotorized vessel with zero ability to flee if someone assaults him. Add 1+1. The only explanations are a) no one ever attacked him for years b) he wrecked everyone that attacked him. Both are probably true.

The thing is, Mihawk doesn't actually need to do anything. He simply is the most powerful being in the verse, remember Rocks was a swordsman, Shanks is a swordsman and inferior to him. People accept him like they accept gravitation.

Unpopular opinion: No creature (Monster) shown is one of the "gods" named in the text. More likely they represent devil fruit powers, are metaphorical symbols or something else. I believe the term god is a symbol of power. Therefore is standing for a powerful representive form of the underlying word. The forest god could be a specific tree and the earth god that rages could be an earthquake.

The forest god imo is the devil fruit tree, the demons it sent forth are the devil fruits.

The earth god is imo the devil, it was oppressing humanity, Nika freed them from oppression and slavery.

Imu is more then likely the earth gods incarnation just like Luffy and JB are Nikas incarnations.

That makes good sense tbh, I just checked it again. They kept referring to Imu throughout each iteration, meaning that he was alive since the first world.

Nika isnt the sun literally though, it is a figure separate from Joyboy and Luffy. Its literally a Zoan fruit with the traits if Nika.

That would imply the God's were living things. Even if the Forest God is a tree, thats very different from the Earth God being an earthquake, which is nonliving.

There are norse elements in Elbaph but only the MMA have literal norse names like Draugr, Fenrir and Nidhoggr outside of Loki.

All im suggesting is it has an original name. Its very obvious its modeled after Nidhoggr

I got It, but what I am saying Is that Inside OP Nidhogg was said to have lighting Powers and Loki has that too.

Ehh, we know thats also not the case given the Sun and Sun God are different things on the Harley, and also given the Mother Flame resembling something akin to a Sun. There is a demon holding a Sun on the drawings too.

I dont think any of this is metaphorical, there are at least 4-6 beings on those drawings that can definitely coincide with the Gods and Serpent

Had a kinda similar Idea. Check this out. Here I state that the devil fruits may be created because a ancient weapon hit the devil fruit tree (and thats why its called the forest god).
