it might be too soon to call their situation dire
I really doubt Iran as such who had years to prepare for such a scenario is in an dire situation after a weekend.
Becoming predictable already would really suprise me .

Kinda reminds me about the talks when Russia went to war with Ukraine ,and sources of all media where saying after months russia will run out of resources.
Yeah 4 years later it‘s still going
They're trying to buy more interceptors because their own storages are being absorbed. The doctrine requires firing at least 2 missiles to intercept a single object (drone or missile). This is a known problem since every exchange between Iran and Israel, and now Gulf states will have to face the same challenge.

No appreciation for Constantinople? Smh

Yes, but I mentioned Al-Hakim since -afaik- he is the most revered in your theology.

You mean Yazid right? Since both Muawiya's mothers were muslim women.

He is mentioned quite often I think, as he is part of the Muallaqat poets. Though I feel we don't give enough care for poetry or literature in general.
We get the Middle East second and then we can do a pincer movement

anyways what happened to the taliban and Pakistani war

Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., on Monday said following a classified briefing with Secretary of State Marco Rubio that the U.S.'s attack on Iran was a "defensive operation," the goal of which was not regime change.

"Israel was determined to act in their own defense here. With or without American support. Why? Because Israel faced what they deemed to be an existential threat," Johnson told reporters at the Capitol following the briefing.

"The objective was to take out those missiles, the short and midrange missiles, and their ability to produce them," Johnson said, adding that the second objective was to eliminate Iran's naval capabilities. "The ayatollah is no more. That was not the mission of the U.S. to go in and take out the regime, but that happened and in my estimation that is a great development for freedom loving people around the world."

It was choose between LITERAL evil or a black woman……those were tha choices and this is what we got smh LMAO
Yeah, God fuckin’ forbid we let a woman take the reins…what happens if she gets emotional on her period? Is she gonna institute tariffs against countries she doesn’t like? Start a senseless war because she felt slighted? Give tax breaks to her rich pedophile friends while the rest of us can barely afford to live? Good thing we don’t have a volatile, unpredictable monster like that in charge…OH WAI-*explosions* :risisweat:

Nothing would change in that regard, but I reject the rest of your premise straight out of hand, there’s truly no way Kamala would have done this much damage in a single year (mostly because every conservative in the government would pull an Obama 2.0 and stymy any plans she had to actually improve quality of life for American citizens) or been more mercurial and bitchy than Donnie.

Since October 7th, Israel is continuously on an offense. Palestine, Lebanon and Iran

Just weapons supply won't be enough for Israel to sustain this.

How much funding Israel is receiving from US to sustain this economically?

Math favors Iran in that exchange
Drones are cheap easy to manufacture

American assets in the Gulf are suffering heavy damages. I guess no one anticipated Iran to attack the US assets in the Gulf nations and risk opening so many fronts.

It's crazy from Iran but it's like a wounded and cornerd lion is more ferocious because it's about survival now.

Trump has to ensure exit asap because long drawn out war will backfire domestically (election wise) and internationally as well.

it sounds like the U.S destroyed all the drone carriers in the area. I'm curious to know how much do they have left

Trump is a sitting duck, I don't think he fears any of that.

I predict his lack of care and attention span will likely want him to move on

I think Trump was never a believer of long drawn out war. He's more like using American power as deterrent or pressure and if that doesn't work then a quick action to build more pressure.

It worked to some extent when it comes to Tariffs.

It worked marginally in case of Greenland and worked really well in case of Venezuela.

With Iran, things simply didn't go as it was anticipated. Pressure tactics didn't work. Trump was saying for weeks that American vessel is on the move towards Iran but deal didn't work out.

Opening up two fronts (Israel and from Gulf), was more like to damage Iran to an extent to get them back to the table to have deal as per US terms. However, they didn't anticipate Iran to counter attack entire Gulf, US Navy and Israel at the same time like this.

And, things are escalating. Iran recently launched new wave of it's operation and reports are suggesting that US is building up more in the region. Statements from US are also reflecting the same - war might stretch more than they thought
