My comment there has nothing to do with ratchet, and I have no idea why you would think that.
I doublechecked my post and the post I quoted, and your misunderstanding is wild.
My first paragraph was directed at your first paragraph.
My 2nd paragraph (the one that mentions ratchet and has a clear visiual seperation) is about your 2nd paragraph or rather my current read on ratchet as reflection to your own.
I may have deleted a 2nd worse paragraph because you came across as such a blockhead that it made me more furious than I would like to be.
Not happy with my initial reaction, but you can have the blunt response if you feel like it (or ignore it if you don't):
Very well. I can see where the confusion arose; your initial post had three distinct sentences and I couldn't tell which sentence applied to which point of my own post. Thank you for clarifying.
Your read on me is clearly not up to date since you have not refreshed your initial impression.
You are up to date, but your read this morning is basically a leftover read from 24-48 hours ago.
I do try to update my reads as I go, in all honesty. If you feel that my read on you is a 'left-over' from 24-48 hours ago, then it simply means I haven't read enough from you that I consider +town to shift that read enough to change it. I apologise if you disagree with my way of reading, but you know what they say about old dogs and new tricks.
I simply disliked the fact that you are handpicking certain reactions considering your read of the room.
I try not to 'read the room' too much. Although I do try to work with my town-reads and find ways to get on the same page as them, I won't always concede a point just because somebody disagrees with me, nor will I generally take thread-temperature stances unless I feel fairly certain that somebody has been thread-spewed as town.
Feels somewhat disengenious and I am trying to figure out if it is malicious (=scum), prioritising (=town but not enough time) or incompetence(=town).
That is of course for you to decide. Could I be incompetent? Possibly. I find that my town-reads are generally decent, and usually better than my scum-reads. I like to think that I'm a fairly decent player - decent enough for my fellow players at AB to nominate me to be a representative at a Championship game several years ago - but admittedly I could be very rusty.
If you think that my intent is malicious, then by all means you should push me for a lynch. For a town to not push their scum-reads towards lynching defeats the whole point of the game, don't you think?
I hope your are scum because these reactions feel too dense to wish on any person, but my god I think you are town, and it just makes me sad
And I too hope you're town, and that your sadness is genuine town sadness and not merely the sorts of tears the late Steve Irwin would love to jump on.
