Nope, because you cannot became King for just one day-month. This doesn't sound legit at all. Luffy is Liberator. Teach is also D, who bring chaotic Freedom! Imu is King of Slavery and Order who inslaved world for 800 years. Only Luffy has to be the one who will free the world from 800 years of Imu's Reign. Othervise none of the readers would be satisfied. It's the same if Sasuke killed Pain and defeated him instead of Naruto.

We have BB as what seems to be a direct descendant of Davy Jones and we know as much as a lazy and disgusting bum he is, he is evil as fuck despite sharing a certain vision with Luffy about dreams. I think Imu is fucking evil but at least there is a sense of order despite the atrocities? If BB would get the throne, it will be chaos and anarchy everywhere.

Dont get me wrong, everything we have seen from Imu is demonic but a certain ignorance is bliss. I think BB would plunge the world into actual darkness.
Wouldnt be surprised if that is what the mural meant. Taking the sun = absolute darkness in the world. Not a literal sun or the entire Nika or DF stuff but the world falling into darkness.
