Zoro has definitively his limits, something that was already shown with his confrontations with Kamazo and Kyoshiro/Denjiro. He won't be able of putting a real fight against Kaido like that, not without having gone through several fights and some power boost before.

Zoro has limits but he has no limits SET so far. No, his limits werent shown in Kamazou/Denjiro fight/clash. Not even close.
He has gone against Mihawk for 2 years, that's better than anything Luffy has done in TS training+all fights in New World.

Yes his fights with Denjiro and Killer showed that he still had limits, and Luffy having been trained by the Dark King and right-hand of the Pirate King is nearly if not as good as Zoro having been trained by Mihawk.

He one shotted Killer with first named move he used? What limit are you talking about?
Killer couldnt do anything without disctraction. What limit?
Against Denjiro neither used even one named move. What limit?
Luffy fought wild animals, not the Dark King. Zoro didnt have anyone else to fight other than Mihawk.
Day and night.

Oda woudn't have made Zoro undertake a second haki training if he wasn't even capable of soloing an YC1 then. He still needs to surpass a guy who is stronger than Shanks and beat Fujitora as well.

At the end of the day we got 6/7 years of manga left at best and that's a few months of manga time lol

Killer was able of giving him a fight and if injuring him. Plus Gyukimaru was basically announcing his attacks and it showed that Zoro had worked to do with his Coo.
Against Kyoshiro he was unable of getting the upper hand with two swords, Kyoshiro even looked dominant against him so yes there were limits.
And nothing says that Luffy only fought wild animals and never sparred againt Rayleigh.
Buusatan94
Buusatan94
Plus these animals were strong enough that Luffy needed Boundman to fight some of them. And nothing says that Mihawk was the only opponent faced by Zoro during his training nor that Mihawk fought him with full power either.
nik87
nik87
Killer didnt manage to get him warm, he literally ended him with first named move and Killer didnt injure him without Gyukimaru. No limit set.
There were no limits against Denjiro since Zoro didnt even use any named move nor anything that resembles his limits like Asura. No limit set.
Luffy's flashbacks do say that he was learning haki for year and a half while fighting wild animals and Rayleigh left.
Buusatan94
Buusatan94
Killer managed to cause him and injury that caused him to pass out shortly after. And it showed that he had real work to do with his Coo so a limit was set.He had limits against Denjiro since it showed that without at least three swords he wouldn't be able of defeating Kyoshiro.
And Luffy's flashbacks do not say that he never sparred against Rayleigh nor that fighting animals was the only thing he did there.
nik87
nik87
Jozu cheap shotted Aokiji too, I guess Aokiji's limits were set. You dont know what limits are so it's pointless to continue.
No wonder you expect Zoro to prove himself and think too much into pointless clashes where nobody tried anything.
If Rayleigh wanted Luffy to go against him he wouldnt have brought him on an island full of strong animals.
Buusatan94
Buusatan94
It has never been said that Rayeigh didn't have Luffy go around him a few times between the fight with the strong animals and nor that Mihawk didn't force Zoro to fight opponents other than him during the TS. Anyway I have no reason to think that Zoro is strong enough to hold his own against Kaido yet nor that he wouldn't lose against King right now and I think we have debatted enough on this.
nik87
nik87
He could have gone against Rayleigh but doesnt change the fact that Zoro has more experience fighting top tiers than Luffy since Zoro didnt waste time on wild animals, he wrecked them before the training even started and he certainly wasnt fighting Perona for 2 years.
It is in front of us, whoever Zoro takes on he will win. That will be all the proof your heart desires.
Buusatan94
Buusatan94
I strongly doubt the Humandrills were a match for any of the animals that Luffy faced on Rusukaina nor that Mihawk couldn't have found any stronger opponent to train Zoro other than himself.
And if pitted against Kaido it is certain that Zoro alone wouldn't win any better than Luffy in his first fight with him.
nik87
nik87
Mihawk going off the island to bring someone to the island to face Zoro instead facing him himself? Headcanon...
Everyone will do better than Luffy did first time against Kaido. Zoro and Law will do better. Kidd and Killer already did better.
Buusatan94
Buusatan94
It's also headcanon to think that all Zoro did was facing Mihawk himself during his training nor that there is no way he faced someone or something else than Mihawk.
And Law and Zoro are certainely not going to be as strong as Boundman Luffy against Kaido nor that Kid and Killer were.
nik87
nik87
There was literally nobody else aside from Mihawk and Perona, it is a manga fact. Zoro didnt have anyone else to face.
They will be stronger. Watch and see and remember that I told you so.
Buusatan94
Buusatan94
We don't know if they were always the only persons and creatures on Kuraigana so I am not convinced.
And Luffy has already a good advance on his fellow supernovas, Law and the others can't hope to catch up with him whenever it's against Kaido or someone else or for the PK competition.
nik87
nik87
Well, yeah. There is a possibility that Mihawk went and brought Kaido to fight against Zoro. It is definitely in realm of possibility.
You will see that his fellow supernovas wont be anything less impressive than himself. Oda will make them as strong as he needs to.
Also, Zoro is the one who will take Kaido's head so he will do better than Luffy who has no means of killing Kaido.
Buusatan94
Buusatan94
Luffy has always been the chosen one of One Piece and the events in the NW showed that there was no real compettition between him and the other supernovas, BB is his only true rival. Even by the end of Wano Luffy would have been the one dealing the defeating blow to Kaido and will continue to outshine the rest of the supernovas.
