    One Punch Man s1 was better animated than any Demon Slayer season. So we kind of do live in that timeline and OPM did transcend anime for that year. But I hear you on S2 forward, it deserves so much more especially since the content is much better than S1.

    I missed that, I figured they each had a broken bankai but don't remember that statement. I can't envision the food women, and the hot springs dude beating Aizen, they weren't that impressive. Zankpaktou creator, yes, Ichibei yes. Shutara...maybe? A powered up Ishida did destroy her afterall, I don't think that version of Ishida can beat Hogyoku Aizen.

    I don't think there will ever be a consensus on it no. Oda will never clearly state Shanks is weaker or stronger outright, he's gonna let people discuss it till the end of time.

    JJK chapter 235 was funny af. I knew the moment that Gege still had Sukuna standing after the Hollow Purple rather than being straight up killed/KOed that he was gonna have Sukuna pull out some bs to gain the upper hand. Gojo twerkers fell for the bait though and were acting like anyone who thought Sukuna would turn things around was a delusional, coping retard.

    Sukuna fans couldn’t explain though just how Sukuna would turn things around since he had no Mahoraga, no DE, and weak RCT. The best cope we had was still not knowing how Furnace worked. I didn’t know or care how Gege was gonna give Sukuna the W, and then he pulled WCS out of his ass and had Gojo straight up one shotted, which was far worse than even I expected. I thought they’d at least fight for 1/2 more chapters

    The thread has already been diluted with off topic stuff but I don't wanna dilute it more so I'll jst ask here. How strong do you think Shanks is compared to people like Kaido/Akainu/Dragon? And old legends like Roger/Primebeard for the matter too. You reckon the golden boy wank might make him stronger than any non god tier (Imu/Joyboy/Xebec)?

    The only thing is we can give them an edge, but the gap may turn out to be much smaller than we think. And i believe Akainu will be the one to show this. Akainu is the only mid gen top tier left that I am confident is getting a full out fight on screen aside from Mihawk, but in Akainu's case it will really put MF into perspective as he's linked to the C3 and WB. Shanks-skeptical because of Teach, the offscreen king.

    but at the end of the day you can´t really have a 1-1 comparison with the NBA where we can just compare stats or say the game has changed. It feels reasonable to say at the end of the day Roger/WB got a slight benefit of the doubt over any Yonko/Admiral/Gorosei

    Which series do you think have the most consistent and logical powerscaling? One Punch Man’s powerscaling is surprisingly solid for a series that’s a parody of battle Shonen. HxH’s is also pretty solid, minus some beginning of series weirdness due to Nen not being fleshed out yet. Naruto’s was good before the War Arc
