I MIGHT take people seriously in their hatred of One Piece's story once they will be able to go at the very least 3 years without reading it. Have fun.
Love is not a Singular scale, it's contextual and there are different ways to love. A story is similar. The calm, the preparation and the conclusion will not bring us the same emotions. So wouldn't it be foolish to compare our love for the end and the beginning?
The "Raizo is safe" twist is really incredible. Contrary most twists, it doesn't play on yet to-exist knowledge but simple diversions tricks. We know pretty much everything. Which makes it a crazy gamble. At anypoint the audience can bring it down with a simple question. "what if they are lying?". And yet, most people are shocked at the end. Really the best twist of the story IMO
1. Carrot is a wanderer, she was created like that from the start. So making her lose and making Perospero say "stay on your island" AND making Carrot stay on her Island, was contradictory to what Oda had build previousely. BUT, it seems like he did not fully commit. And this cover actually shows that he stayed true to her character by allowing her to wonder around. This makes her conclusion of Wano much better.
I actually kinda love the agenda shenanigans. I have a lot too myself. It's just pains me that when some people gets theirs in the muds, it transforms into hatred
